Newb Question - Do you wash plastic clearos before first use?

I tried searching on this but couldn't find any info - just got a bunch of generic CE4s and also some iclear 16s and 30s. Do you wash any of these before you use them the first time? If so, are there any guides on how to wash them? Every search I find is on cleaning them up after you've been using them a while. Thanks!!!

I know one person that got ill from a new one. Some people will wash them before first use... Or at least a little alcohol bath to sterilize.

When I get new ones, I usually fill with Everclear and let the sit over night and wash in the morning and let air dry. Then they are always ready for me when I need them. Just what I do.

I'm guessing from the lack of responses here that either this is something everyone does or very few do? I will wash and air dry most of mine but have to admit to having used a few first. If you don't hear from me....

Glass or plastic or metal regardless, I clean everything before first use.
Sometimes I'm lazy and only give it a nice hot shower, but when I'm patient and don't need it right away, I usually dump everything in vodka for 12-24 hours, then rinse under cold water, then dry and/or let air dry
