Hey everybody, just wanted to say hello to the forum since it seems like I'm going to spending a ellolot of time here.

A little background on me. I was a heavy smoker for about 12 years and tried a couple times to quit. Last time I tried to quit I was on the patch, told myself that the only time you could have one is when I drank. End result, I drank more so I could smoke:facepalm:.

Then 3 days ago I was walking through the mall(forgot my pack at home) and tried one of those kiosk cheapo ones. You know, the $140 ones that break in a week? But to my surprise it got pretty close to a good the throat hit, and fixed my nicotine crave for a sec. Obviously I didn't buy it with out more info.

That's when I found this site:). Got my info and decided that the ego would probably be my best bet. Searched online and found that Liberty Flights was in San Diego(well not really Liberty Flights but Vapure.com). I hate waiting so I had to just go there and see what they could do for me.

The owner and staff are great! Told him I wanted a big throat hit, massive smoke, and enough battery to last me the day. "No Problem" he said. Throat hit and vape all depend on the cart, atty, or tank that you use. So I would try one, then he would readjust the set up after I gave him a response. In the end(an hour and 15min later) I ended up with a JoyE ego starter w/ the JoyE lr 306. I FREAKING LOVE THIS THING! Fits all my criteria Big vape, big TH, and good batt life. Vapure customer service is on point too. These guys were full of knowledge. Explained how everything worked and what was used for what, tips and tricks, and this girl that worked there named Alex was real fun to look at at:p:p.

Now I'm tar free for 2 days and going strong. Money saving wise, not so much. Just bought a carton of marlboro lights 3 days ago so there's a 55 dollar waste, and I'm buying all sorts of things for my new ego. Drip tips, juice, car charger, lr atty's, pass through, and now I'm looking for a bottom feed box mod since I'm already tired of dripping, but wont sacrifice taste. MAP tanks just wont cut it, LR atty's for me. They just seem to have the boldest taste.

But yeah, thanks to all the people on the forum for putting up great info. And a big time shout out to Liberty Flights/ Vapure.com(San Diego).

Grats!!! Be sure you have spare atomizers. Good to have a 306 drip tip too.

Thanks, I'm on it got the atty's and drip tips coming in. Picked up the Ming with a 306-510 Delrin adapter, and a few cannon drip tips. Grabbed a few cisco lr306's to try out a couple to see which I like best.

What do you use if you dont mind me asking?

Welcome and good luck, sounds like your starting out with a positive attitude and excellent set-up.

Thanks artt. Kinda of hard not to be excited though, when you finally find a way to save your lungs. This is coming from a Respiratory Therapist so I know all the bad things that come with smoking. I've even held a couple lungs that were destroyed from smoking. Still the analogs had me in their clench till now.

I have to agree about Vapure . I was raised in San Diego , and go out there all the time to visit . Last time , I went by Vapure , and got some juices . The staff was very helpful and friendly . And Liberty Flights is their neighbor , just no store front . You order what you want on the internet , then go pick it up at Vapure . Strange arraignment , but seems to work . I took one of my daughters neighbors there , and they set her up like you . I just vaped away and tried all the different juices they had . I will be going back , on my next visit . And by the way , welcome to ECF .

Thanks for the welcome Renzuli.

Oh OK I guess I understood them wrong. I thought tony said that he handled all of LF's orders in the US, since LF is actually based out of the UK. I wonder if he carries their flavors too. Heard some great stuff about their 555, or was it their RY4.

But I stopped by after I made this thread to go taste testing. Tony's cook? I guess you would call him came out and asked him to taste something, a sweet tart flave he just made. They were nice enough to offer me a taste, and wow that stuff was amazing. Tasted just like a sweet tart, you know, the candy? I liked it so much I had to get some for myself. They said its not finalized yet but they gave me a little 3ml bottle of the stuff for free. I offered another customer a taste and he loved it too. He offered to buy some from Tony, but sadly the 3ml bottle they gave me was all they had left. Me being the awesome guy that I am ;) gave him half of what they gave me. Great little vape community here in SD, who would have thought.
