Hello All,
I've been lurking around for about a month. I scored a classic penstyle from e-smokey treats.
I've been impressed with the e-cig I chose. I've had my share of time trying to learn to use it properly or effectively.
I do have a couple of ?'s though.

How do you know if you need to lower the nicotine level? I've lost most of my appetite over the last 5-6 days, and I"m also getting a tweaked out speed kinda feeling... Sweating more than usual, not wanting to eat, and being pretty wired after vaping.
I'm using e-smokeys camel e-liquid {high} strength. My next order will be for meduim level stuff.
The carts are a pain in the azz. I've been dripping and that seems to be consistent.
Battery life is good, other than the top of one of the batts came loose:cool:
Everyone I show it to is amazed by it.
I havent' bought any smokes since I got my kit,,So that's a good thing.
I've noticed I don't drink as much pop throughout the day. I hadn't expected that.
I think my analogs were also tied to my beer habit. I don't seem to want to drink beer as much either.
Just some newb observations and a few questions..;)

Your symptoms sound like a bit of a nicotine overdose to me. I'm pretty new to vaping myself but it seems like it's not all that hard to vape more nicotine than your used to with analogs. I've been starting the day vaping 18mg juice for a couple of hours then I switch to 14mg juice for the rest of the day. This is day 4 of vaping for me, and day 3 without an analog.

Good luck and Vape-On,

Kim

Hello All,

Hello All,How do you know if you need to lower the nicotine level?

Hi Vegatron,
This is a good thread
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/health-safety-e-smoking/3598-nicotine-safety.html

Check the strength of your old ciggies, look on the side of the packet and multiply the nic mg per cig by the number you normally smoked. This will give you a rough, very rough idea of what to vape per day.

I love to vape all day and so when on holiday I need to build much more ZERO and LOW into my consumption. Next week work restarts, so I'll be vaping far less often. I won't be vaping ZERO in my 10min morning break!

Flexibility was alien to most of us when we smoked. Now it doesn't have to be like that when we vape - we can move up and down strength and switch flavours any old time. :D

Hope this helps,

After my 1 week of use I have some advice for new users.. Start with the lowest nicotine level you get w/ your kit. See if the lowest level satisfies your cravings. If that doesn't do it move up to meduim and so on.
I made the mistake of dripping my penstyle w/ high level stuff. I've noticed some negative side effects from my use of high level e-liquid. Sweaty, empty stomach feeling, feeling wired and no appetite.
I did quite a bit or research before I used and never came across anything saying start low and see if that works.
I found the typical bigger is better info. HOpefully this will help.
