I know somebody that had problems ordering directly from China. He lost a lot of money and it never got recovered.

One instance is enough for me.

I've ordered online for many things since 1999, all US sites, never been ripped off.

You know one guy who got ripped off, so you condem every supplier in an entire country??

Based on that throught process, I would have to recommend that no one ever order from an American online supplier. In fact, Business Weekly stated that more credit card numbers are stolen from US online stores than any other country in the world. I've made easily 60+ orders from Chinese and European suppliers and never had an issue. Your blanket recommendation just doesn't hold up to scrutiny.

Well, it seems you guys are not impressed with my choice of the Ego-C. I liked it because it was kinda small looking, not a cigarette size, but not huge like some of these e cigs I see. I wish the website pictures had something in them for size reference. I will probably use whatever I purchase when my wife and I are out, as much as at home, thus I was leaning toward something a little smaller. Ah well, more to think about. Thanks for the replies thus far.

I started with ego battery size with the same thoughts you had. I found that there was some inconsistency in the performance and taste while vaping that frustrated me. I moved to a vamo with a vivi nova clearomizer and have been very happy. It's def bigger and draws attention (especially in the airport) but the experience is worth it. I found that I had started craving analogs too much after a month on the original set up and the upgrade squashed that.

I've been vaping for about 3 weeks, I got the ego-C twist batteries , I am very happy with mine, using a Viva Nova. I was a heavy smoker, I think you will be happy starting out with a set like that.

Whatever you decide on, make sure it's one YOU feel the best and most comfortable about using and one you feel will work for you. Just because one thing works for one person, doesn't mean it works for all. I got the Vamo, but not because it came so highly recommended, (I had kinda narrowed it down before I got opinions on it!), but because I didn't know what my actual vaping needs would be and I didn't want to be stuck with something that wasn't quite right. The Vamo is adjustable and hey, this girl likes choices! :D

Hi everyone. I've been smoking for several years and I want to get off analogs. I enjoy smoking but I don't want all the added poisons that actual smoking brings. Anyhow, I'm ready to pull the trigger and become a vaper. I would like a little advice before I buy.

I'm leaning toward buying this kit:

https://www.cignot.com/product_p/kit-ebc-all.htm

Other than juice, is there anything else I should order with it? Spares of anything, etc?

Would anyone recommend buying it elsewhere?(I don't want a knockoff I think.)

Anyone care to suggest a tobacco flavor?(I generally smoke marlboros).

Thanks in advance and thanks for the wealth of information this site had provided.

If you haven't ordered yet, check this kit out http://uniquecigs.com/products-page/starter-kits/itaste-vv-express-kit-coming-soon/.

It's almost half the price and is a variable voltage battery. They have other kits as well or you can piece it out individually. If you've never vaped before, an eGo style battery, clearomizer, and ejuice is all you really need. That will give you a good idea if you like it while providing you with a decent vape experience. If you enjoy it, then you can get bigger and better.

Most people would say that if they had to do it over again, they would go with the biggest and best from the start. But that is only because they enjoy it. If they hated vaping, they wouldn't be too happy about dropping a few hundred on gadgets.

First, sorry for the length of this reply, but I wanted to cover your original post in full

I know it's confusing, and everyone will have their own favorites. I guess vaping equipment is like asking which car you should buy. Most of them will get you where you want to go, but it depends how you are going to use them as to which model is better for you. A pickup truck and a luxury sedan will both work but offer completely different experiences.

I purchased the VV 1300mAh spinner with a CE5 clearo combo from My Vapor Store. It was $70. I went with that kit because the batteries last a long time and it had everything I needed. Yes, it's a little bigger than the kit you posted originally (they stand about 11/12 inches tall with battery and clearo) but I personally like them because with a full clearo, I can vape pretty much all day out and about and not worry about the battery going dead or running out of juice.

Some others have recommended the Vamo (V2) which is a great lower priced mod that will also offer you excellent battery power but in a slightly oversized package - even in shorty mode (with one battery) they are chunky. They also have a slightly steeper learning curve with them - but they offer a lot of versatility because, among other things, you can use removable batteries in various configurations.

So, everyone has a different opinion, all I can recommend is what worked for me - I purchased from a US supplier simply because it was my preference for my first order as I felt I would probably get better after-sales service.

So, now you have even more options than you can shake a stick at. Continue to do your research and then pull the trigger. Sometimes you just have to make the choice and then fine-tune from there. If you get a higher power variable voltage battery (like a 950 / 1000 / 1300 spinner / twist or even a Vamo) to start with, then all you need to worry about for a while after that would be juice and carto / clearo / atty / tank combos.

I think both the vamo and the spinner / twist would be excellent choices, it just depends on how "plug and play" you want the experience.
