Newbie buys 24mg for Aspire Atlantis

Hello everyone. My first post here.

I had bought 5 bottles of e-juice along with an Aspire Atlantis kit etc.

Since this was my first time buying any serious vape equipment,
I thought more nicotine is good and I ordered 5 bottles of 24mg.

24mg with an Atlantis tank.

It's bitter as hell and 10 puffs of that thing will make your head spin.
I had to lie down for a bit after a few drags.

Its like the first time you ever smoke in your life and your get that buzz.

So I need some help in making that e juice palatable.
Any suggestions are welcome.

And next time I will know better than ordering the "24mg" good stuff.

Buy the same juice in 0 nic and cut it down this way.

It depends if you want to satisfy your nic craving in a couple puffs or do you want to take the time and puff for a few minutes every few minutes, I still vape 24mg in a bottom feeder and take 3/4 hits every 15 minutes rather than 15 hits every 3/4 minutes, that's what works for me

I was thinking to buy plain VG and use this "24mg" as an additive to that.
It is way too strong. It might last me a year at this rate.

I think I got misled by my earlier ego style device.
It was terrible, used to leak and I had to chug on it to get decent vapour.
My vendor used to sell me 18 mg stuff and I never felt anything.
So this time, I thought, I would go all the way.

Lesson learnt.

I know some people that use it regularly, but I recommend starting with 3mg, and move up until you find something more comfortable. Buying plain VG will dilute the flavor of the juice, You could always spend a few more $ to grab a Nautilus Mini for the 24mg. It is a much more forgiving tank with high N juices.

If you dilute it with pure VG it will dilute the flavor of the juice. I've tried vaping VG from the Vitamin Shoppe and wasn't really really digging the way it tasted.

If you like the flavor, you can do as someone else suggested and buy 0 nicotine in the same juice and mix it with the 24.

If you're not liking the flavors too much, just chalk it up to a learning experience, eat the cost, and order some different juice in the correct nicotine strength.

Personally, if you're coming off cigarettes, I wouldn't go as low as 3mg. In the past, I think most people start with either 12mg or 18mg.

I started at 12mg with my protanks, and still use 12mg in my kayfuns. When I've used my subtank though, I found that 12mg was a bit strong. Considering the amount of vapor you get and the amount of juice a subtank burns through, I think 6mg is a good spot for it. You can drop below 6mg after you've been off the analogs for a while.

I recently ordered 180ml of 12mg juice from one of my favorite companies and realized 12mg is now way to strong for me except for between meetings for a quick nic jolt. Definately too strong for me in my subohm tanks.

So, I just placed an identical 180ml order but at 0nic. I will mix most of it to 6mg and if I decide to go down to 3-4mg, I will mix 2-ish parts 0nic to 1 part 12mg. This is what I am doing with some of my Mountain Oak juice as they were out of 6mg. I bought a 0mg and a 12. Voila! 6mg.

P.s. I do mix plain VG into some of my juices to lower the nic, but unless they are very flavourful, it will really water down the flavour IME.

^^^This. I've gone the VG cutting route before and the taste was really muted. Also, at that time I was new to vaping and it was all about TH for me. Adding only VG will kill the TH of the juice.

Go for the buying of the same flavor of juice in lower nicotine levels. Mix to the level you need. I used to do this as various levels of nicotine became to strong for me until I finally got down to 0mg of nicotine and actually dumped out all of the juices I had with any nicotine levels left over. Lot of little sample bottles (unopened) went away. Was right before I made an account on here and found out there was a classifieds section I could work my way to getting access to.

You should try this. Not everyone needs the same level of flavoring. It will be a cheap experiment in a small bottle.

I started at 18mg. 24 was always a bit over the top. Now I'm at 12mg and about to step down to 6. Now just a couple hits off 18 gives me a headache.

Whoo 24mg?? With that tank I'd say 6mg is the max maybe 12. I made the same mistake however. I was in Atlantic city and they all sell e juices and I found a 36mg. 2 puffs and I wanted to die!

I'm new also. And, I am using the Nautilus mini. I started with 18mgs, because I was a very heavy smoker.

Frankly, everything I've vaped has basically tasted bitter, and I am not enjoying vaping at all. But, I am desperate to get off of analogs, so I have been experimenting around with ehat I have at hand.

Fortunately, I had ordered 18mg, 12mg and 6mg, plus they threw in a 0mg freebie.

So, I have been mixing in my tank, mainly using my 6mg to cut it, and get rid of the horrid taste.

I am now on day 8, analog free. Cutting the ejuice has made it much more palatable for me. IDK, others might find this unsafe, but it is working well for me.

If you have a vape store close to you, go pick up a 0mg bottle. Frankly, I am mixing flabors, as I haven't really liked anything I've bought so far, and I am enjoying some of the concoctions I've come up with.

This works. ^^^ No reason to "experiment" with other ways of diluting it.
