I recently got an eGo-T kit, my first e-cig, and a couple bottles of juice from cignot.com... Joye RY4 and Cappuccino in 24mg strength. Suffice to say, I LOVE it! I am still finishing off my (hopefully) last carton of analogs in between tanks, however...

My first impressions are, I really like the RY4, although it's smell and taste is more that of pipe tobacco than 'analogs' in my opinion. It is really smooth and enjoyable, but I can't help but wonder what else is out there, that may be better or closer to 'analogs'?
The cappuccino is good also, but it's taste is much less pronounced than that of the RY4, and I feel as though I'm mostly tasting the 'peppery' nicotine taste rather than the cappuccino. This concerned me at first, as I was not sure if this was the 'burning' taste others had warned about, and I was wondering if I had somehow melted my wick inside the atty, or if it could be the plastic taste other had complained about using the tank system but I did not get this same taste in the same atty using RY4 right after.

So now I'm at a point where I'd like to try more juice. Different flavors. So I think I need a sampler pack. I'd like to get USA made eliquids. I'm thinking about getting something from Johnson Creek, or some from Mrs. T's Bakery, but there maybe other good ones out there that I'm simply unaware of? The thing I like about Ms. T's is, it's a VG/PG blend, which I've read is the best of both worlds, and Johnson Creek only offers one or the other, which 100% VG apparently is no good for a tank system... which brings me to, I'd also like to get a 510 LR atty, to use just for dripping, so I can be sure I've removed the wick and plastic tank from the equation, in case they may be imparting any taste...

Any recommendations on where to get an ejuice sampler pack? and/or where to get an LR 510 atty and adapter? The place I got my kit from, cignot.com, does not have LR 510 atomizers, or the adapter I THINK I need (I've read they need an adapter to connect to the eGo battery...?)

Gourmet Vapors has good prices for small bottles 5ml. I would suggest that you buy
from a couple different vendors as they will be different in taste. Also buy small for
a while. After you get off the analogs, your taste buds WILL change over the next
30-60 days. What you like today....you may very well not like in 30 days.
Buying the PV is easy....finding the juice you like, a little more challenging.

Welcome and congratz on the tank system. I love mine too. If your looking for a true analog taste please check out Freedomsmokeusa Pure Cig. I get mine with a splash of menthol. It got me off analogs finally after trying for a year but couldn't get rid of the those few cigs and when I was drinking had to smoke. Pure cig ended all of that. I also love their sweet flavors Butterfinger and snickerz. I do find that the sweet flavors are alittle weak on the tank so I ordered more with 2x flavor and it is perfect. They have sample bottles real cheap and a ton of flavors and are really great people.
I never liked the Lr atty but I believe they have those also along with all the tank atty's and batteries in the cool colors. My spot for one stop shopping. Oh you don't need a adapter for a 510 Lr atty. The tank/ego batteries are a 510 connection. Hope it helps
Oopps forgot also Freedomsmokeusa juices are 50/50 pg/vg with any configuration of nic or pg/vg you want except on the specialty flavors

classifieds would be the smart way to go,
but I seldom have the patience to be smart.

the nicotine taste isn't the same as the burning. Have you ever had nicotine gum? It's got the same thing- you had it right with "peppery".
The burning, i believe, is a dry burn which allows the atty to get hotter than it usually would, and burns the plastic a bit.
I have it happen a couple times a day, I just re-prime by sucking on the mouthpiece a couple times for a few secs each time, and then giving it a sharp blow- for no good reason other than it feels like the right thing to do. I have a basic understanding of the theory of how the vacuum system of the tank/mouthpiece works, but I have not cut one open, or seen one in cut-out, so I don't know the exacts of how it works- so the sharp blow may be useless, or even harmful, but so far it's worked for 18 days of fixing the "burnt" taste. So, it's suck, suck, suck, blow. take 2-4 vape hits off of it, but dont inhale, then vape as usual. burnt taste should be gone, or will be after another toot or two.

Back to samples. I love samples. I love those little 3ml bottles. And you can fill directly from the little bottle to the tank.
I've prolly got 50-70 of those little bottles now, and a spreadsheet started to try to keep track of them.

For the ego-T, I'm not fond of high %VG juices. VG eats flavor.. at least on my tastebuds..
Some juices hide the nicotine taste better than others.. and it's not always the ones you think. I can't make gross generalizations because it seems to be very subjective in nature, so I'm not gonna say "this juice hides nicotine up to 36mg/ml!", because that would only apply to me.

It's a wide weird world of flavors. Try as many as you can. Some people prefer nicotine flavored juices, some like candy, some like the bakery. Other than RY4's (which is like, just a pinch of tobacco with your dessert), I don't dig on tobacco flavors much. I used to be an RYO/MYO smoker, and have already sampled a good bit of the wide world of regional & boutique tobacco's- and I love many of them. I find the vape'd versions to be lacking. In one instance, perique. The perique vapes I've had taste like American Spirit perique- which is pretty far from the traditional, small batch, non-corporate owned periques I've had- but I digress. My preference is to steer clear of tobacco vapes. Just a personal prefence. Everyone has them.

As has been stated many times before, try to stick with "clean" e-juices. (This does not mean the word "organic" should be on the side of it!!). Light, or no colorings, especially avoid caramel colored juices (caramel coloring is sugar-based).
Sometimes you can't avoid colorings, you live and learn.

So far, the best vape I've had on the ego-T has been the OvaleUSA "Tobacco". At first I was really leery of the stuff. It was waay different than anything else I'd ever vaped. It's actually the first juice with VG in it I'd tried (VG was just starting to be mixed in when I gave up last time, so I never went there). It's clear, very simple.A slight tobacco taste, with roasted peanuts, or some other nut. Weird. But it's a simple formula- PG/VG, vanilla extract (which I assume is straight vanillin, not the actual alcohol extraction of the bean), and 2 pyrazine derivitive flavorings that are probably used in the ppm range. So, very simple, very little to gunkify an atty, and surprisingly good vape. Unfortunately paypal has shut down OvaleUSA's site, and I fear they may decide it's just too much trouble to do direct sales in the us with all the legislation flying around.

I think I've wasted enough of everyones time. Good luck. Hope you find what you need quickly, and without spending too much $$!

I expecting my first order to arrive today from Ms. T's Bakery if you like you can hit me up for my first opinion on them? Altsmoke (boasts USA made) now has samples of 50/50's but the site is being edited at the moment from the looks of it.... Try a sample of American 55 that tobacco was a strong one.. As for me I prefer the red and white tobacco it is lighter on the taste... Also they post a whole host of replacement part and adapters for the batt....

I ordered both sampler kits from JC about 4 weeks ago. So far they've been hit or miss. The original line is PG based but has VG in it, I'm not sure of the ratios though. The Red Oak line is VG only. As far as the flavors go My favorite so far is Tennessee Cured. I like both versions, if I want more throat hit I go with original and in the evening its the Red Oak version. It has a distinct flavor almost like marshmallows, my co-workers tell me it smells like pipe tobacco. The only other one I like from the Original line is Summer Peach. From the Red Oak line I love Island, a pina-colada like flavor, I use Domestic when I'm changing flavors since imo it doesn't really have one. So overall the JC has been mostly misses for me. I ordered my ego from GotVapes and they sent me a 5ml sample of Carmel Apple, I think it tastes great, I may even order more from them.
