Hello all,

I'm a first time buyer, and I've been doing a lot of reading. I've decided on getting an eGo-C, with different types of carts. Can anyone recommend a good place in Canada where they have decent supplies at a good price? Would be nice if anyone knew of some Canadian vendors that sold e juice with nic in it.

Also, whats the lowest res cart/atty I should get for an eGo? I've heard there are some dangers when going to low. Also, does dual coil change the total resistance in some way?

Can't help you with the Canadian vendor question, although Canvape has a good reputation around these parts. Once you get 5 posts, you can go to the Canadian forum and find out about the nic juice.

The smallest eGo battery is 650mah. Personally, I would stay at 1.7-2.5ohms, since you've only got 3.4V and the battery size is on the small side. If it's a larger battery, say 900mah or more, 1.5ohms is o.k. too. You can use a 1.5ohm on a 650mah battery, but it's not very good for it. I think the problems with low resistance and ego electronics have been rectified. Now, it's just a matter of the strain a LR carto puts on any smallish battery.

A PV sees a dual coil carto as having the resistance it's labeled at. IOW, the total resistance. A 1.5ohm DC carto is actually two 3ohm coils. The total resistance is 1.5ohms and the battery reacts to it the same as any other 1.5ohm carto. Since a 1.5ohm DC carto is actually two 3ohm cartos, they don't work that well on low voltage PVs like an eGo. You get the same vapor as you'd get with a single coil 3ohm carto, only twice as much of it.

A real good carto for a 3.4V device is a 1.7 ohm single coil Smoketech "Resurrector". For a larger capacity clearomizer, the Stardust is very good as well. Look for the ones named "eGo Vision CE4+". They are much improved over earlier versions.

Frankly, you'd be better off skipping the "C" part of the ego and just using some good cartomizers and clearomizers. Better yet, skip the eGo entirely and get a kGo. It's basically the same thing except it's 3.7 volts instead of 3.4 volts, the battery is 1100mah instead of 650mah and it costs quite a bit less.
