Hey there! New to the forum and recently new to vaping. I was using an ego twist for a bit and finally upgraded to an itaste MVP v2.0 with an iclear30 dual coil clearomizer. Was using the local vape shop eliquids but they tended to only taste good for the first few hits and then felt hit or miss...mostly miss. I am guessing it is because they appear to be VG based and not a higher mix of VG/PG? Feel free to educate me. Ha! I just ordered a couple flavors from Ahlusion since based on my initial searches they appear to be well liked. I got them in the 70/30 mix. Again, feel free to educate me if I'm making rookie mistakes. Looking forward to learning from all of you and hopefully making some better choices!

Welcome
When I started vaping I went through many stages. Juice taste good one minute and bad the next. One piece of advice I have is to stay hydrated. Your taste buds are changing and trying to return to normal. This plagued me for a few months. I was drinking gallons of water. You and your body will adjust but not overnight.

In the first month I spent $$$$$ trying everything I read or heard about In search of the magic vape when in reality I just needed some time to adjust. There are many good choices in mods and juice so you probably can not go wrong if you stay with an ECF Supplier.

Good luck and congratulations on changing your life and finding ECF.

to ecf DruLaurence. So glad you are here. If you like more throat hit like a real cigarette a higher pg percentage is recommended. If you are trying to produce a lot of vapor, a higher vg. Vg is also sweeter to me. I began and still use a 50/50 mix because I feel like it is the best of both worlds.

The mvp2 is an excellent choice of upgrade. Very dependable and has a great battery life. I am glad I still have mine even though I consider it a good back up. But you will enjoy it. It takes time and patience to find your own little vaping niche.

I personally have been more pleased with my juice since I started making my own which if you want to save money is a great option to consider. It is very easy to do and there are some wonderful threads on ecf to help. If you are still trying to find what flavors make your taste buds dance, I think it is good to try things that are on sale. Here is a link that I use to follow daily to try and save money. Very good deals here and all very reputable suppliers. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/418767-deals-steals-203.html

Good luck to you and happy vaping. Any time you have a question, there is always someone here that can help you. You will find that is the best part of ecf. :)

Hello and welcome!

I *LOVE* juice by Ahlusion. Just be aware, that since their juice is "made to order" you will probably have to let your juice "age" before it reaches its prime. Especially 70VG/30PG.

If you have any questions about their juice come on over and join all the Ahlusion fans Ahlusion E-Juice Part 3. Lots of reviews, lots of recommendations, lots of sales.:)

Thanks all!

  1. Is there a "right" mix of VG/PG for the MVP with iclear30?
  2. Does the mix have any effect on taste? As I mentioned above the juice I currently have feels stale and lacks flavor.
  3. Steeping is a totally new concept to me, though I suppose it makes sense. Is there anything I can get now that doesn't require steeping so I can keep the cigarettes at bay? :)

Welcome home. This is without a doubt the best place to learn, have fun and make many friends. Here's a link to my favorite juice vendor, Bionic Vapors. JC is amazing and a great place to get a great product. I think you have to have more posts to get into the suppliers forum but as soon as you do take a look there, you will find more than you could ever hope for.
