Newbie from Singapore!

hi all!

am new to vaping from Singapore where vaping is illegal but many still do so in private. any fellow singaporeans on here can help point/guide me to sourcing for equipment/gear to vape?

am currently a 10 stick a day smoker and aim to cut down on ciggs and hoping vaping will help.

any input/help would be very much appreciated!

thanks! got to know about this community via the sg vapors thread actually but am currently unable to post there as you've already mentioned, thus was hoping to find out more from other members over here. have been trying to find out more about vaping but its pretty complicated especially to a fresh noob like myself.. and also the diffculty of getting started over here in singapore due to the strict laws over here.. so any help from anyone in the know especially from singapore would be a lifesaver!

Have you tried vaping yet? Do any of your friends vape?

You risk a lot and it's just not worth it .
You will not like getting a caining or going to jail there .

appreciate the replies but those points mentioned above about singapore are mainly myths and misconceptions about things over here. from what i know, most vapors just have their equipment confiscated when caught.

i've a close friend that vapes with equipment brought back by his brother from overseas but he was not able to provide me with more info as his bro was the one that sourced everything.

another reason for wanting to give vaping a shot is also because smoking cigs in singapore is absurdly expensive. (S$13 for a 20-stick pack equivalent to USD$10) and eventhough i'm only a pack every 2 days smoker for more than 10 years, i'm hoping gradually reduce my reliance on cigs and have read that vaping helps achieve that without the nasty odors of cig smoking. thus i personally think the gains far outweigh the risks!

I buy analogs 28-stick pack at €7.50 (around usd 8-9 i think). But hey....cigarettes are still cigarettes. No matter if its cheap or not. It's still more damaging our health. Better vaping!

cigg & alcohol taxes here are mad. i wanna start vaping but have no idea whatsoever on where to obtain the gear. and i can't yet post on the sgvapor (singapore) forum. this is proving to be a challenge!
