Started vaping on 04/05 to quit analogs due to Dr's request (I recently died beginning of Feb due to an outpatient surgery that went horribly wrong in the recovery room - luckily I was already in the hospital and did not suffer anymore brain damage beyond my normal blondness ( although I dii try to freak out my Dr the next morning when he came into check on me by alternating every other word between english and russian (would not have made sense to anyone who spoke russian (I'm not that good and it's been 9 years since I learned it) but it did freak him out for a minute or two ))
Anyway here is a time line of my vaping and equipment so far
04/05 - saw a cheap ecig kit at ma and pa store - Clayton - looks like a cigarette pack and has 1 bat (510 connector), usb charger and 1 carto - bought 2 @ $7.19 each because clerk told me each cart was same as 2+ packs and disposables were $6.99 (they did not carry any extra carto's)
04/06 - discovered that cartos are about the same as 3/4 of a pack - went to wally world to see what they had - bought 2 Mistic kits and 5 pack of cartos - 3 batts (auto - similar to kr808d-1 but longer - nw4262???), 2 usb chargers, and 1 wall adaptor and 5 cartos + extra 5 pack of cartos = $53-ish
04/08 - spoke to some co-workers that tried ecigs several years ago but quit due to poor performance and taste - they both asked how do I drip into a sealed carto??? - discovered ECF when I got home and actually did some research
04/09 - snow day from work - 22 inches of snow - spent whole day on ECF lurking and reading, reading and lurking, and so and so forth
04/09 late - decided to order Halo G6 kit based on reviews found here and some extra cartos, clearomizer (mini tank per Halo), and some juice - just shy of $90.00
04/09 later yet - decided to order some juice from Tasty Vapor - Atomic cinnacide and doubler, sample sizes of Ultimate Vanilla and TV cherry cola, sweetener and empty bottles, just shy of $60 with rush order fee and shipping
04/10 2nd snow day - more ECF reading and lurking - decided a bigger bat would be better (apparently size does matter regardless of what all my ex GF's said, wait??? does that mean???
naaahhh, they weren't talking about me)
04/11 spoke to co-worker that told me of a local store that had ego clone kits
04/12 went to above store and bought Tsunami "tank" kit (1 ego style 650 mah bat, 1.6 ml clearomizer, usb charger, wall adaptor), extra bat, extra clearomizer and a couple of 10ml juice - about $97 (yes, I know there are cheaper, better kits online but I needed it NOW! (why yes, yes I am overly entitled and the world revolves around me + I think I have more $ than ¢
)
04/13 decided I was disappointed with the juice I bought - kept watch for mailman for order from Halo and Tasty Vapor (Halo sent me a tracking # and it was scheduled for 04/13 per USPS tracking and I was being hopeful)
04/13 late afternoon - happy happy joy joy - Halo and Tasty Vapor orders both arrived
In a nutshell
7 days of vaping
$315 spent - yes, I know, but I am single and don't have a battle axe - I mean, a woman to control my every thought or expenditure (I impulse bought a 55" tv this last xmas because they were stacked by the cash registers @ Best Buy (sneaky ....**ds - preying on poor defenseless single guys)
Halo has incredibly fast order fulfillment and is reasonably priced - Tribeca flavor juice is fantastic
Tasty Vapor - Atomic Cinnacide is great, ultimate vanilla is pretty good, and TV cherry cola is ok (to be fair - it was the last I tried and may have dulled my taste buds on the others) - very fast order fulfillment if you are willing to pay the extra $3 and multiple emails with the status of your order
Beginners - Please, please read everything you can here on ECF. There is an incredible amount of info - if you have already gone down the road I did, please let any interested friends know about this forum - and remember, vaping is tastier, does not burn your eyes, clothes, carpets, car seats nor does it turn your walls yellow.
next possible order - Vision MINI Vivi Nova Clearomizer Tank System and aluminum tank (for cinnamon juice - currently using in halo cartos only - due to info found here on cinnamon breaking down plastic clearomizers) and Ego pass thru (or 2 - 1 for house and 1 for car - remember?, no battle axe)
