What kind of Mod do you want? I think its better to do your own research on mods and decide for yourself. Check out a bunch of the reviews and decide whats best for you.

A great beginner mod would be an E-Power. Its very simple but provides a constant 3.7 Volts. If you want more high end vaping you can go with a ProVari but this is for Advanced users who understand most parts of an e-cig and what the differences of them are. You basically have to know about Atomizers, Cartomizers, Dual Coil, Single Coil, Diff Ohms etc.... It gets quite confusing so to make your experience good i would suggest doing TONS of research before buying a mod.

Thats good you have some knowledge on electronics. Like i said just soak in as much as you can so you can make the right decision on which mod is best for you.

Some of the more popular ones are: ProVari, Darwin, Reo Grande, Reo Mini, Silver Bullet, Buzz Pro, E-Power, GGTS, Saber Touch.

Just a side note: You can find TONS of used mods in the Classifieds section of these forums for significantly cheaper than what they are being sold for new. This might be a good way to go if you arent sure what you want or will like.

on the contra, luckily i am farmiliar with secondary batteries and simple electronics from the CPF fourms, so the electronic part shldnt be too much of a diff :D

LMAO... if the ECF went over to the CPF forum, they would ask you questions! I spent quite a bit of time over there a few years back.

If ya 'got into' the CPF, then you'll survive here. The learning curves are similar! Welcome aboard...
