Hi,

Just started looking at the e cig. I am a menthol only smoker and want something with a good menthol taste. Looking at BEST4ECIGS (NG1) full kit on amazon - 25.50. Does anyone know this type or can you recommend anything else?

Thanks

The price on that kit isn't too bad. You might be able to find a slightly better price. Their claim about how many cigs the cartridges is probably about double what they are in reality - typical for a lot of untrusted online vendors.

I would recommend searching the forum suppliers here on ECF, all of which are trusted, reliable, not overpriced.

I'd steer you away from Blu, but you're in England, I don't even know where all Blu ships to.

I use a Halo element, US based, but I'm fairly certain they ship internationally. They do have good menthol ejuice though (Menthol Ice).

You can probably find a similar ecig to theirs for about the same price, or a little less, and probably closer to home. So check the forum suppliers for UK sites.

Like SaS suggested, let us know more about your smoking habits - you'll get a lot of suggestions from the forum.

Glad to hear another smoker's looking to quit tobacco for a better alternative :)

I just recently switched over from tobacco (10 years) to a 510 kit and couldn't be happier! I would also suggest the 510 kit to anyone who is looking for a basic and reliable e-cig. It has definitely served me well thus far and I am looking forward to seeing what mods may make the experience even better.

Blu only ships within the US now so no worries there.

Here is a link to suppliers associated with the ECF forum. You can look at it and find several reputable suppliers in the UK.

Forum Suppliers - Sortable List

I always recommend starting with a Joye 510... a good kit will cost you about $50 bucks.

HOWEVER, "fat battery" 510s (Joye Ego (non-tank), inferno, riva, tornado) will give you longer battery life and will keep you satisfied for longer. I.E. if you get a regular Joye 510 and like vaping, you'll want to upgrade quickly... just my .02!

+1 Liberty Flights

I only just started Vaping, and my first (2) orders were placed with Liberty Flights...
Both arrived promptly without issue.

If you smoke mostly at home, and want to start right away.... You can always get :
- Pass-Through (battery eliminator)
- compatible cartomizers
- Fluid
- 2000ma (2amp) Adapter(s)

And you're off and running with equipment you will have NO REGRETS about.... Because I feel most will eventually end up with a Pass-Thru.... Though its a "tethered" setup, you'll quickly appreciate the non-battery operation and convenience. Not to mention the HIT, compared to portable units.... Which of course by that point, you can take your time shopping for since you'd be well on your way...

I bought the Kit first, and quickly realized the components are so very basic....
Battery, Carto, Fluid, Power source (charger)

I'm building my second Pass-Thru for my car as I type... to go along with 2 new 2000ma adapters (wall/car)
I built a Pass-Thru for home use... So ultimately, the Kit will be used while out & about...

Nice to have all types, as each has their advantage in terms of convenience....

The Kit I started with was the N-Pro.... Though some may say its a lesser performing kit,
with BOGE (4081) Cartos from Liberty flights, its AWSOME!!! 10x better than the carto's it comes with....
