I have been searching the web and this forum for info on e-juice. I have smoked Benson & Hedges menthol lights for years and years. I switched to Pall Mall Menthol about 8 years ago, since they were about 2 bucks cheaper per pack.

I keep reading posts where people are asking for a good menthol juice, but it seems everybody keeps recommending these "minty" flavors. Yecch... Mint is not menthol. Chewing gum is mint, and tastes nothing like menthol. I tried some "menthol" cigarettes from China, trying to save money, but they used a combination of different mints, and they were horrible!!

I am waiting for my E-Max kit from maxvapors.com (should be here Monday). I'm looking to get off of these cigarettes for good.

I want an e-juice that makes me think I'm "smoking" a menthol cigarette. I want the smoothest transition from smoking to vaping as possible. I don't want to go from smoking menthol cigs to vaping "minty apple pie", or "double-mint maple pancakes", or "mint-Cheetos, mango & salami". I want it to taste like a menthol cigarette (tobacco and real menthol). I know my taste buds will change and I will probably switch e-juice flavors at some point after the initial shock.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a "real" menthol/tobacco cigarette flavored e-juice brand? Or, is there just no such thing?

Welcome to the forum, mmcnenly

Someone will be by shortly to point you in the right direction for menthol juice (I'm in Canada and my sources are different).

I will say, however, that your tastes will likely change as you transition through vaping, but don't worry about that for now. Just get yourself set with whatever works to get you off the tobacco. Then let the experimentation begin.

Have fun with it - you're about to discover why this whole thing beats the heck out of smoking.

Well You could allways get yourself some "Koolada" and add it to a juice you like. Koolada gives the cooling sensation of menthol but has no real flavor of its own.

My recommendation would be to get a tobacco flavor you like ie: RY4, dktab, 555 etc and then add your own menthol flavor to it

- and get the menthol flavor (pg) in the 20 ml size (20ml = approx. 400 drops - it is a strong menthol flavor and you will only need to add a drop or two per ml (5% -if that much) - order a few empty bottles so you are not experimenting with your full bottles of eliquid as you can always add more flavor but you cannot take it back once added

add menthol flavor and then shake well for 2-3 minutes (no steeping needed with menthol flavoring)

I have a friend that I mix for that just does the menthol in a 50/50 pg/vg mix (no other flavor included at all)

or you may just want to try diy for yourself - read the stickies in the diy subforum and see if it is something you want to try. I started diy for several reasons. 1. I'm cheap, 200ml of diy eliquid ends up being less than $10 at the strength I vape at, and B. I can set the pg/vg %'s myself and can also set the nic strength to my liking (I have different strengths for different times of the day and different situations for stress relief)

Once you get out of the mindset of trying to mimic smoking, you'll discover a wide world of flavors out there that will delight your taste buds. Don't approach vaping with the mindset of "it has to be like smoking". You'll never get that taste as you aren't burning anything.

Totally agree, you cannot replicate smoking exactly with vaping because there is no combustion. You're right though there are hundreds of thousands of flavors out there to try. When I first started vaping I wanted a tobacco. Used a good one I had found for awhile and then tried a Georgia Peach. After going back to the tobacco from the peach I didn't even like the tobacco anymore.

Yeah... Switching from Menthols to Mango-Salami might be Kinda Hard. LOL

Sorry I can't recommend a Good Menthol. I was never a Menthol smoker. But I'm sure someone will.

Or at least Recommend a Good Tobacco e-Liquid that you could Add Menthol Crystals too.

I started with these when i first got into vaping, coming from Marlboro Menthols. Turns out I LOVE fruity flavors much more than methol when vaping. Dont be afraid to venture out of your preferred taste. Vaping is much different than smoking and some flavors do not translate well.

Yeah, that's probably where I'm at right now, thinking as a smoker. But like I said in another post, I don;t want to go from "smoking Menthols" to "vaping minty apple pie". It might work - I don't know yet. I'm still waiting for my starter kit (similar to a EVOD), and it comes with a bonus 10ml of juice. I chose menthol - surprise!!

So far, my experience with vaping was an NJOY menthol disposable. Not exactly "the bomb".

Oh, and I was not trying to spam, I just wanted to get past the 5 post minimum. Sorry. I've done the same on several forums with no ill effects. My experience with newbie forums in the past has been receiving 50 - 100 "welcome" posts, with very little info. Every forum is different. This one is definitely better than others I've been a part of.

It's important to sample several flavors, just as with cigarettes, if you try 3 to 5 different brands, you end up chosing 1 maybe not so much because it the greatest thing ever, but either closest to what you think you want or has the least of the bad taste options; not sure if I'm explaining that so well.

I've found it's somewhat the same with eliquids. If you do do some DIY you will probably discover you have a preference for more PG or maybe more VG; and as for nicotine, depending on your PG/VG ratio you're going to go for different strengths.

I do need to make that cherry chicken enchilada though, sounds great but I may add a little bacon just as a kicker to it

LOL!! I never thought of that about Febreeze.

I'm liking your idea of adding bacon. C'mon... who doesn't like bacon? Actually, while searching for e-juice, I saw some bacon flavored ones from ECblend, High Desert Vapes, My Baker Vapor, Vapor God, Thunder Vapor, and others.

Bacon rules!!
