Hi everyone!
I'm a fairly new vaper here in good old NC. I smoked my last cigarette July 14th and with the exception of sneaking a couple of draws off a friends ciggie a few weeks ago just to see if what it tasted like(yes, it was yucky!) I haven't had one or wanted one since. I will warn you, I will ask more questions than a lawyer! I started off with Kanger Evods and am now using Vision Spinners, both 1and 2 with Kanger Mini Protank 3's. Of course, I'm going broke trying all the flavors of juices. :) Looking forward to learning all I can!

Hi Lynn!! yeah I did that too, about week two, I took a draw off a friends, admittedly nice on the inhale..totally nauseating and disgusting on the exhale! and I smoked about 40 of those a day? dang!

good start up gear!!! we've got so many juices 'round here I had to clear half a shelf on the 'fridge door! *lol* Shinyitis..it's good though to not be smoking!!

Welcome and congrats on quitting!!! :)

I've been thru a bunch of combinations in the last few months. Maybe I can save you a few steps & $$$. The MVP 2.0 / Kanger Aerotank V2, IMHO, is the best bang for your buck out there. I have 7 different kinds of batteries & 6 different kinds of tanks. From the lowly 650 mah Ego to the 3800 mah Kamry Bacchus & the 1.5 Aspire BDC to the Kanger Mega. The MVP/V2, 2 of them, is my go to PV. You can get the pair on ebay for under $65, including shipping, shipped from the U.S. not China.

Hello and welcome to the forum Lynn. Glad to have you here!:)

Do you start with say 24mg of nicotine and gradually reduce the mg of nicotine until you're down to 0 or do you find a mg of Nic that you like and stay with that?
I gradually cut down by purchasing a flavor or two in a lower nic level and vape both the higher and the lower (it helps to have more than one tank). Over time as you ween yourself off the higher nic level you just purchase a lower nic eliquid.

Stepping down nic is different for everyone. If you want to quit vaping I think the recommendation above is a good one. A lot of people switch without the intention of quitting, just using a less harmful alternative.

One thing I will say, when you upgrade your device to an MVP drop your nicotine a level with your subsequent juice orders. The larger mods seem to atomize the nicotine more efficiently.

Thanks Ed! When I get ready for an upgrade I know what to get.
I do have a question....so how does this work? Do you start with say 24mg of nicotine and gradually reduce the mg of nicotine until you're down to 0 or do you find a mg of Nic that you like and stay with that?

I started with 24 mg & went to 18mg in a couple weeks. I'm going towards 12 mg now & my taste is still developing/changing. It's a healing process. Also, the more efficient your set-up is the more you'll taste with it Then there's Shinnyitis . . . . . . . . . . :2c: :vapor:
