Hi,

I'm Hazy, I'm a 1-2 packs a day smoker and looking for a better alternative or solution to quit.
Been reading through a lot about e-cigs for a while now and this forum have shed some lights and still wanting to learn more.

I received one e-cig last month from a friend and I am now planning to buy one. Looking around for more info.

Welcome, Hazy. You are in the right place for info. When I found ECF I had no idea of all the options available to vapers. Isn't it wonderful?:vapor::)

Most newbies start out with skinny ecigs and move up to a Riva or ego. There are a lot of options. What are you looking for in an ecig?

Thats exactly what happened to me. I'm loving my em-riva! I smoked at least a pack a day - and if your doing 1-2 packs yourself, and if your considering the riva / ego - I would suggest getting low resistant cartomizers and atomizers as they hit on par or better than analog cigarettes imo.

Oh and 2 weeks ago I would have never even understood what I just typed above. All the new terms and names can seem so overwhelming and it seems like everyone knows whats going on and you don't and theres so much information it can seem so confusing.
But if you spend some time reading throughout these forums (I use the search function all the time - or simply ask my question on google and add "e-cigg forum" to the end of my search query and voila! - the question has been answered.)

Welcome to the community :D

Thanks for the very warm welcome guys. I'm already getting good advice from you on my first post.
Loving it already.

Actually, I already got one, a gift from a friend but just used it quite a few times. That's why I joined here because it sparked an interest in me. Although, I'm still on analogs. :(

@tmcase: I'll check out the ones you mentioned. Looking forward.
