So on Friday, I picked up an eGo-T battery and a couple of clearomizers from a local shop, along with a couple of juices. It has already cut my cig smoking wayy down.

Now, I am already looking for something a little more advanced/higher quality. I really (at the moment anyway) do not want to get into winding my own coils and whatnot. I have been researching for hours and still am not fully up to speed on all of that.

I think I have decided to go with an eVic. As far as a tank, I was looking at a Kanger Protank 2 or 3. Do these sound good for the eVic? Any other recommendations? Also, is there anything else I need/should get while I'm at it?

I have an evic and I like the device quite a bit. It is a nice device in my opinion.

However, compared to other, more inexpensive mods like the vamo, it feels a bit cheap in your hand. Mine works fantastic, has great features and has been reliable however.

I love the built in charger.
I like the software.
I like the menu system.

Since I have no aspirations to sub ohm, its total wattage output limitations do not matter to me at all.

I'm pretty happy with my evic.

I use a pt2 a lot with mine. Works good with it.

I liked the Evic when I was originally starting out, but realize that the thing is quite large. I loved the passthrough and all of the options you can get with the software, but unless you get the 16350 tube it can be cumbersome. WillyZee's set up is really nice, and I wish I went his direction and got the smaller tube. I had a MVP as well, and I personally liked that one much more. Now it is pretty big as well, but it seems a little more stout in design. Its great in its simplicity and has a couple other options which I liked, such as the ability to charge USB devices off of the huge battery pack. Between the two I personally like the MVP, and a buddy of mine uses his everyday, with a PT2.

I love the Protank 2 especially with an aerobase. I have never used the 3, but I gravitate towards the 2 because of the availibility of the single coil heads which in my experience have been a little cheaper than the heads for the PT3 and Aerotank. When/if you ever choose to build your own coils, the single coil setup of the PT2 is a great place to start. And if you have previous experience with the PT2 it will be wasy to get into rebuilding with confidence. I hope this helps a little, since your progression through devices really mirrors my own.

As someone that has had both Evic and MVP I will agree that the Evic is more about being a gadget, Granted it is great at doing it and works well. Mine unfortunately snapped off at the top when I sat down with it in my pocket. I know it was a stupid thing to do but I simply forgot about it. MVP on the other hand stays in my pocket and just feels sturdier. I have broken an MVP as well though. But it was because a iSmoka base got stuck on it and I decided that pliers were the way to go. I rebought the MVP not the EVic

I've had (and still have) lots of different devices. For over a year now the eVic has been my favorite; over 94,000 puffs with no problems and just replaced the battery a few weeks ago. My current #2 device is an MVP 2.

I really like USB charging -- have no interest in having a separate charger and a bunch of loose batteries banging around. I really like being able to zero in exactly what wattage I want -- such as setting 8.2 or 8.3 or 8.4 instead of only being able to choose 8.0 or 8.5 watts. And I really like seeing the battery percentage, the ohms, the watts, and the volts all on the screen at the same time.

Those are just a few of the things I like about my eVic. I keep looking for a new device but there doesn't seem to be anything at any price that does everything the eVic does. I like it.
