Worried about scary battery stories I keep reading, hope I can get a quick answer here...

Just bought my first mod (VAMO V5). Never bought a battery for one, but read all the cautionary tales of exploding batteries. I was thinking of getting 2 of the smaller ones to start, maybe 1 larger one. (still trying to remember the names 18650 and 18350 i think). Anyhow I see a lot about AMW and Panasonic. Would prefer to get Panasonic since it seems to be the better. I need a good charger and batts, but still not entirely sure what I'm searching for on Amazon.

Anyone got model numbers I can look up? I figure 2 of the smaller ones then I can swap them out or if needed piggy back them for longer situations. Help!?

If not model# them maybe something I can search for.... I'd rather ask than make a wrong decision on my own assumptions/comprehension...

Hey rich. I just got a vamo v5. There's a good battery thread here in the vamo forum. It helped me understand the batteries that can be used for the vamo.

I wound up getting a efest imr18650 and 18350 from mount baker vapor when they had their cyber Monday sale.

Also ordered a aw imr 18650 from rtdvapor.com. which is where I decided to got the nitecore intellicharger i4 charger. Rtd also has the Panasonic imr's

From the suggestions on the forum here you don't want to stack 2 18350's

Aw and Panasonic seem to be the preferred batteries to use.

Good luck
