Newbie Mechanical Mod Tank Queries

1st off, lemme just start by saying maximum possible newbie here so I'm sorry in an advance if I'm already doing something wrong so feel free to correct the fook out of me! Now that's out of the way, basically I've done some research & I'm finally thinking of seriously purchasing a mechanical mod period. Mech mods are just generally more my style & suit my future purposes better. I have a few questions however regarding tanks. I really do like the dripping style atomizer but the convenience of having a filled tank seems more up my alley. To the point; what types (if you have any specific recommendations, much obliged) of tanks are compatible with mech mods & are pocket-friendly? I'd be carrying it around like a packet of cigarettes, since Genesis Style tanks appear to prosper vertically rather than horizontally I'm guessing not a good choice?

Hope you can help, sorry if I've broken some rule but I'm just trying to learn before the darbs start gettin' addictive~ :smokie:

The Kayfun, Russian 91%, Kraken are all good options (they are all "Genesis" style RBA's). Most all of them function the same way so find what looks good to you, check some reviews for feedback and/or any known issues; then buy it, love it, and never look back. Though not technically a rebuildable, Kanger's Pro-tank/Aero-tank work VERY well, and the coils can be easily re-built. They are pretty low maintenance, and if the coil is built and wicked properly it will be reliable and have little to no issues with leaking.

Also, PLEASE be safe when building coils!!! Do a LOT of research, be sure to check you coil's ohms (after building them and before use), and know how much power your batteries can safely put out!! Do the math and double check, you DO NOT want to mess up your kit and/or face. It can happen, and has happened. Just be informed and be safe.

The Russian and kayfun are not genesis type mods. They have entirely different wicking methods. The russain and kayfun use differential air pressure to move liquid up channels build into the attomizer and the genesis type mods, i.e. kraken, us stainless steel mesh to form wicks that move liquid by capillary action. I have a kracken clone and am not particularly fond of it except for the way it looks.
