I have just built my first box mod dna30 using a aluminium hammond enclosure two efest 18650 35amp purple batts in parallel (5000 mah) I soldered all connections made with 20 guage wire and used a vamo top cap I also put 2 x 6 amp hold ptc fuses in parallel on the positive. Now when I power up from standby I somtimes get weak battery msg and if I use a coil less than say 2.6 ohms it won't fire above around 18-20 watts but if I use a coil above 2.6ohms it wil happily fire up to 30watts the battery box is of the spring type and I soldered the fuses to the positive terminal and then 20gauge to the dna chip and 20gauge to the neg terminal I was hoping someone could shed some light on this?
