Hi All - only vaping for less than 10 days now but SO glad not to be smoking! Have an eGo twist and ProVari V2.5. Tried juices from only 2 sources so far, AltSmoke and ProVape - AltLiquid RY4, X-High and Timber are ok (with a 2.6 ce3 bottom coil cartomizer), but ProVape's sucks. Their Whitehorse and Chocolate are awful - tried them both in 3.0 cartomizers (@ 4-4.5 volts) on both the ProVari and eGo and both give me a strong peppery sensation at the back of my throat, at the end of the inhale, worse on ProVari than the eGo. Question: is this peppery sensation typical of ProVape's juices or could it be something to do with the cartomizer?

When I used the 3 AltLiquid juices, it was only with the bottom coil cartomizer (looks like a clearomizer to me) and no peppery throat sensation. The cartomizer I used for ProVari's juices (and bought from them) are not clearomizers and have that polyfill - the bottom coil cartomizers don't have polyfill. In all instances I added 20-25 drops & peppery sensation from the first, so don't imagine it's due to dry carto. If this peppery sensation is due to the polyfill in the cartomizer, then I will never buy them again. If it's that all ProVape juices have this sensation, then it's definitely not for me. Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

Nicotine has a peppery taste sensation. If you have ever tried nicorette you will know what I mean. Is one of the juice a stronger nic content?

LOL, I smoked analogs for so long I would surely know if this peppery taste was like my old cigs. Though I know what you mean about nicorettes. All my juices so far are 24 mg but only the 2 from ProVape have the peppery problem.

Sorry you didn't like the juice. I suggest trying small batches from as many vendors that you find interesting. I love my Provari's but I've never had any interest in trying their juice. I've seen some people say that some nic bases have a peppery taste. I haven't personally haven't experienced it yet.

Congrats on quitting successfully!!

Hey Chimney34, what do you use with your Provari (cartos, attys, etc) - looking for some female input here. I'm definitely not ready to get involved in building my own anything (other than a life sized George Clooney). So far I'm liking the bottom coil clearos, but am looking for an easy to use atomizer so I can try lots of different juices. And congrats to you on almost 6 months - that's a major accomplishment.

Thanks so much! Congrats to you as well! Right now I'm using carto tanks & testing out flavors with a dripper from avid vapor. It's the hh357. So far it's been easy to use for testing. I just wish I'd purchased a drip shield. With my juice being so thin it gets a lil messy! Lol! Hope this helps!
