Hello,

My wife and I are trying to quit analogs. We have tried the blu e-cigs from Walgreens and they just do not do the trick.

I have read many posts on here and I think I have settled on my next kit to try out.

What do you think about this kit from High Desert Vapes for a newbie like myself?

1100mAh eGo-T Kit
- Color: Black Matte

American tobacco-USA Blend e-liquid
- Size: 10mL
- Nic Strength: 12mg
- PG/VG Ratio: 50/50

I am a pack a day Marlboro light smoker. The blu's left me wanting more so they would not stop me from smoking at all. I am hopeful this will do the trick and get us on our way. We will of course have to buy another kit for the wife if this one works out for us.

Thanks
Indagroove

Its a night and day difference between that and the blue.....I only recommend cig-alikes to lighter smokers because of battery life...1100 Mah will suit you perfectly.

If youre looking for a cheaper kit just to see if it work you might want to check out smoktek.com...they have a nice 1100mah kit with a ce4 cartomizer and charger for 21.95....you could probably buy two of those and extra batteries and still end up spending only a little more and get two kits insteadof just one. Heres the link SmokTek Express eGo CE4 1100 E-Cigarette Kit

go higher on the juice, at least 18, most of the problem we have comes from the somethings missing feeling, at minimum get a few samples of diff strength to try.

the tanks are ok in that kit but they are hit or miss as far as quality and reliability for most people.

never seen the kit linked in the other post but thats a spot on trial device. and reusable if you like it then you can start getting better accesories (more batts, extra clearo's etc)

Is there any type of instructions that come in those packages? I do not want to screw anything up trying to fill that up with ejuice and such. Also on how to know if the battery is charged and such.

Thanks

charger has a green/red light indicator, inside the tank is a little rubber piece, dont go past it filling up. dont get juice in the center tube, and thats about it.

in the end if you think you like it keep coming here, looking around, asking questions. everyone here likes to help and share. there are many, many excellent devices out there. but in the end you just have to get going, realize it can work for you and have at it.

Good luck I wish you success and stick around...........................

Hi Indagroove
Yep. I agree with Thrasher. You have to start out with higher strength nicotine if you want to kill those cravings. I use 24 mg nic. Sometimes 18 mg. but I keep going back to the 24. That works for me.
I also use a Kgo kit. The Kgo battery is slightly higher voltage than the Egos. Higher voltage gives a warmer vape resulting in a more satisfactory sensation on the inhale.
You can get a good Kgo kit at Hoosiers Ecig Supply. They are a trusted vendor here at ECF.
Glad you're here. Let us know how it's going for ya.

They also have some pretty cheap juices on the site to try.I recommend this vendor a lot because of their lightning fast shipping.A lot of times they ship the same day they receive an order and will send you tracking info and a follow up email asking how you liked the product.

Good luck on quitting and if you have any questions at all dont hesitate to ask

I am in Nevada so I am far from everything LOL!

I pulled the trigger and bought 2 of those kits so the wife and I can try this out and their 18mg tobacco juice. Just going to give it a shot and then experiment with different batteries and clearomizers I guess. Reading all the time on here helps get the curiosity going too.

Thank you everyone for your advise and I will let you know how it goes.

Well good luck to you!, and I hope it works, you will really be shocked at how much better you feel if nothing else! and just keep in mind while it should work fine, it really is a beginning step into a much larger world, let us now, and happy vaping.

(the real fun starts when you realize just how many diff juices there are to try)

I have been using ego T style for over a year, and I swear by them..but .I have a few tips.
Look online. The kits still favor tanks, but dual coil carts are way better.
also, if you go to a good site you will have a great choice of liquids, and I recommend 24mg.
There is an Ego battery made with a USB port in the tip...good investment, as chargers can fail. The best thing
about the kit is that it starts you out with almost enough equip, but i tend to think you could
build your own, too. It will still save money.

Glad we could help.If you like those kits after trying them I would recommend buying a few more batteries so you have a spare or two always charged. Those kits will work with 650MaH, 1100mAH and the Ego twist batteries as well in case you want to try variable voltage at some point. Pretty much anything with a 510 fitting can be used with those.
