Hi, I'm new to this forum as well as new to e cigs/vaping and have a couple of questions if you don't mind helping me out: I *think* that my Eluma is a 902 atomizer and battery. The starter kit included all the important stuff: 2 automatic batteries, 1 atomizer, USB charger, AC charger, E-pack (very convenient), and 25 cartridges (sample pack of all 5 flavors, that are very good by the by)....

Anyway. I've read around the net about the different kinds of e cigs, the throat hit, the vapor production, etc and since I'm having a few "problems" with my eluma cigs I'd like to buy a different atomizer and also try a manual battery instead. I'm looking at buying a "902 SS" atomizer from the Modern Vapor site (since it's the same model type) because it's supposed to deliver a better throat hit and vapor production (I'm used to smoking Newport Kings and I have to really pull to get enough vapor for my liking), but I just wondered if it really WILL make a difference and if anyone has used one before?? I'm also trying to make sure it will be compatible with my Eluma, of course.

Second..... I want to also purchase their 902 manual battery (the eluma comes with 2 automatic batteries and I don't like how it cuts you off/regulates your drag itself) and I also wanted to know if the manual battery makes a difference and allows more control (the way I'm hoping it does) and less "pulling" to get a good drag? Third..... I've already decided I hate the pre-filled cartridges. They have that tinfoil covering over them that comes off in bits and clogs the atomizer, so I've already been peeling off the tin foil and sort of stirring around the filling when I'm not getting good "drags" (and it seems to temporarily help). So I'm *planning* to save the cartridges and just buy the e-liquid.

However, I've read around here and other places that you can just "drip" the atomizer itself with a few drops and/or refill the cartridges as long as the fiber filler is still good/in tact and I'm careful to not overfill the carts. I've already been pulling the filler stuff out and using tweezers to "squeeze" a drop or two of the liquid right onto the atomizer (seems to help) and then just put it back in the cartridge and reassemble it, but it's annoying to have to do this all the time. Will the e-liquid work well if dripped onto the atomizer? If so, how much is too much? And how "full" do you make the cartridge when refilling it? I guessed about halfway or so?

I've also been attempting to blow out and clean my atomizer with rubbing alcohol, but it's hard to get into the casing to clean the actual atomizer. Is it okay to soak the atomizer in rubbing alcohol, then rinse with water, and allow to dry? It seems sensible to me, but I don't want to accidentally ruin it.

Sorry for the bazillion questions, but I am BRAND NEW to vaping and just got my kit like 2 days ago and have been fiddling around trying to get better drags, less pulling/sucking required, and reading up on how to modify my e cigs to make them better suited to my needs. Anyone who can help with these questions would be a lifesaver!!!

**PS: The screwing around with the atomizer and the pre-filled cartridges has made me not able to give up my Newport Kings entirely yet, but I've already gone down to 3 analog cigs per day, which is really good for me. However, I think I could stop them entirely if I could get my e cig kit modified to work best for me and my smoking needs....(I hope)**
