Thank you in advance for help and opinions.

I recently purchased and Ego-T and have 2 issues with it.
1. amount of vapor ( I only have PG liquid right now) will VG liquid improve this?
2. no Led at the end and i think I would prefer an auto battery ( do these batteries exist? )

I'm looking at a 510 tank, would this model be more to my liking?
are the 510 and ego-t parts interchangeable?

also does anyone know where you can buy VG in Canada? I have checked several stores and found some at Michael's but it only says Glycerin, not Vegetable glycerin. and no USP markings etc.

many Thanks for any replies!!!

Hey Zoom. First of all, VG will greatly increase your vapor production. I like a 50/50 blend myself. When someone uses the term glycerin, they meant vegetable glycerin. I'm not sure if you can buy an auto Ego styled battery, but I am sure that if you go with a 510 battery you will greatly reduce your vape time per charge. Auto batteries also have the negative of activating around loud noises. Good luck and welcome to vaping.

When you get your post count up to 5 you will be able to get out of the New Member's forum, and you can get in to the Canadian forum here. Because of Canada's laws, your best advice will be from fellow Canadians who know the ins and outs and availability for ordering stuff.

I have seen people advertise here that they have eGo style batteries with an LED. No idea who since they were unregisted sellers and got poofed. So they do exist. Don't recall ever seeing an auto battery in that size/type.

VG will definitely increase vapor.

Actually, the lack of an LED and a manual battery were part of the reason I bought my eGo - but hey, if we all like the same thing, there wouldn't be different kinds, right?

Oops - Missed a question:

The eGo and the 510 battery are both threaded the same, so everything should interchange just fine - EXCEPT chargers. The eGo charger is not suitable for the 510 battery.

I think what it comes down to the most is style. The only manual battery I know of is the Ego 510 I am not sure the tank version has it. You need to press the button and hold to use it which is great cause you get full control over the battery usage. Only problem is that the battery only has about an hour vape time so you will always need to carry the two with you. My fiance has the Ego T and loves it. It's a little bulky but is very powerful, tons of battery life and provides great vapor. The 510 parts are interchangable. If you get a 510 tank I recommend getting the one with the most battery life.

A 510T would seem like a downgrade compared to an Ego-T to me. I don't own a 510T but I own a 510 and an egoT.

I'd want to step away from both to be honest. If you want a cig sized pv with an LED on the end, I'd highly recommend one of the newer Kr808D-1 models like the volt, bloog or halo g6. You can get these in manual or automatic.

Pros vs standard 510:

- Higher capacity batteries and only a little thicker
- More colour options
- Higher voltage (3.7v regulated as opposed to 3.2(ish)V regulated)
- Much better quality "padding" (whatever you want to call the finish on a pv battery)
- More robust, reliable automatic batteries
- Get a Kr808d-1 threaded CE2 at 2.4 - 2.6ohms and you have a larger capacity "tank" type system than a 510T or use standard cartomisers

Cons:

- kr808 models likely have slightly less options for heating elements as it's not as popular as 510
- No interchangeability with your existing Ego-T without an adapter (but they are very cheap to buy)
- Needs its own charger

Sorry, I know it's not directly what you asked for, but smaller and with an LED on the end with greater performance... a Kr808 fits the bill.

1. Tanks in general don't like 100% VG. But buying juices with a PG/VG mix will help. I recommend juices that are PG with 20-30% VG but even 10% will add some nice vapor. VG also dulls flavor and TH

2. One of the fat battery models has an LED on the end - not sure if it's Vgo or Kgo? Auto Ego - I think there is one somewhere because somebody just killed one last week with a juice leak and decided it wasn't such a great idea.

NOTE - IF you buy an auto 510-T then NEVER use its charging cable on anything else. its cable can kill normal 510 batteries and even Egos. One guy killed 2 Egos with a 510-T auto charging cable. there is something different about 510-T auto charging cable.

510 and EGO can exchange STANDARD resistance atomizers and cartomizers. Ego can also use low resistance. 510 and Ego should use their OWN charging cables. An Ego cable will damage a slim 510 and cause ti to loose its ability to hold charge. And 510 cable will charge an Ego too slowly or incompletely, or in the case of the auto 510-T cable, kill the Ego.

Well here's my 2 cents.. If you want an auto battery, then you might enjoy a 401 instead.. Not only do the attys last forever, but the battery lasts ages (I am a constant vapor-er) and I get 7-8 hours before recharge.. Also the PCC is a "smart" pcc so you know how much the unti has left to charge and will let you know when the battery is fully charged.. The problem with a 510 is that no matter what, I could only get 1 and 1/2 hours before charging..
