Newbie questions, please help!

Hey there everyone,

I just got a DSE601 pipe today for my birthday. I have been messing around with it a bit and am really enjoying it, but I have a few questions/concerns.

First, the light that apparently is supposed to let me know if the pipe is working or not (typically located on the bowl) is not working. I am not quite sure what to do about this.

Second, I have been hearing lots about something called "dripping." I'm really just curious about what this is.

Thirdly, I am curious about how to refill the cartridges that came with my pipe.

If anyone could help me with these questions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much!

Also, I think I may have gotten a bum battery with my pipe. Any suggestions on what I should do? Thanks!

I'm actually really interested in getting an e-pipe, lol. There's a guide to dripping in the ECF "library" I believe, that should help you some. I'm not sure what the atty is like for the 601, but the 3 piece (separate atty/cartridge) models seem to be fairly similar in construction across the board.

As for the bum battery/LED, you'll have to contact wherever the pipe came from, they should be willing to replace whatever's broken.
