Newbie Questions

Hi all,
I just received my newly purchased dse901. So far so good and if I may, I'd like to recommend SaveaSmoker.com for their super speedy delivery. I ordered it Thursday evening, the mail didn't run Saturday due to the holiday, and still it was in my mailbox Monday!

I'm very pleased with the device and I'm getting the hang of it, but my question is concerning flavor. I ordered the tobacco and I assumed it would taste like a cigarette. It's not bad, but it's more of a pipe type of tobacco taste. I'm a Marlboro Light smoker. Can anyone recommend a nicotine liquid that would be comparable? I don't care for the slightly sweet taste of the one I have.

There are no liquids(that I am aware of) that truly simulate an analog. I thought the same what you did when I started as well, but then I discovered FLAVORS.............

Give them a try, you may be surprised! Butterscotch, caramel, and RY4 are at the top of my list!

You're not going to find a flavor that tastes exactly like smoking an analog, half of your flavor comes from the actual burning of the tobacco and paper.

Being the lover of analogies that I am I've got the perfect one for you:
Compare it to BBQ. If you use real woodchips in the smoker you get a completely different flavor than you get if you use that store bought "liquid smoke" flavoring.

There are lots of great flavors out there, my personal favorite is Strawberry but that's just me, being me. I think the general consensus around here is that once you completely switch to your PV (if that's what you chose to do) the last thing you'll want it to taste like is an analog. I know I'm that way. I was teasing my bf the other day telling him that I was going to smoke an analog just to spite him (I quit because he hates the smell of analogs) and grabbed my friends pack but even the smell of the unlit tobacco was enough to turn me away from the idea.

Thanks for the replies! Maybe I'm trying to hang on to my real ciggies as much as possible by wanting to taste the paper, glue, etc. lol I'll try some of the flavored liquids and try to look at it not as a replacement for my cigs but a new experience altogether.

I can relate with you and at first I was using the Marlboro flavor, it was a little different but more smooth than the tobacco. I too was looking to keep the "smoking" thing, was just not ready to give it up, but that only lasted a week, now I love all the other flavors and don't want the Marlboro flavor anymore. Totally Wicked Tobacco juices are extremely strong in flavor. Won't be the same but you will definitely know that there is tobacco in the juice.
