Newbie says Hello~

Hi guys, Im from Singapore and have just started this. Been a 1.5pack/day smoker but for the sake of my kids, I am vaping whenever at home. Just bought an ego - T with a aluminum bottom fill tank with side windows to see the level.

Did some checks and believe this is a 650amp battery and the tank appears to be a 2.4ohm... Biggest problem now is the juice seems to be lacking of Nic which now i am also trying to find new juice with higher nic contents. In my place here, it seems to be hard to find. And i couldnt post in the social forum of my place. Keep saying i need to have 5 post but not allowed in that particular sub forum.

Welcome to the forum. Just answer a few questions in this thread and you will have your 5 posts and can move on. What you have is fine for starting but you probably want something with a little more oomph.

How much nic are you now using?

Aint sure of the nic level as it is not indicated on any of the 4 bottles i have bought. 3 were free. Paid for 1 apple mist but they are prob the same. Heading back to the shop soon to get another mod and more juice with higher content. Lets see how i will fare.

Hi Uncouth32, I am also a newcomer and welcome to ECF . Singapore, difficult country for vapers if not the worst. Even a Subox sold around 150$ under the table of course. I think your solution is at JB but risky of course, can bump into a random security check at the customs.

You can try to increase nic level or try to learn to wick RDA and that for a beginner I think will a bit difficult cause there is a learning curve like everything. So yeah, JB if you visit can find a lot of vapeshops and options. Btw, off topic, as I learned from my GF, you have an ejuice there (Malaysia made I believe) I believe it is "horny mango" and she said so delicious.

Please be careful bout scammers, I know when you don't have too many options, people accept to pay high prices for crappy stuff but Google before you buy anything and price check everything cause I keep hearing black market literally robbing new vapers. Also you can try to email Richard Ng from Youtube (smiling, happy gentleman)and ask for help.

You are right that options are very limited here. I got my first and 4 btls from our neighbour. Will be getting another unit and more juices soon. Call me lazy but i dont think i will get into modding the unit... prob getting something with a bigger battery capacity since i carry it around with at least 1 to 2 btl of jucies so that i can top up whenever i need to..

Hope to find juices with higher nic as the juices i have now are like air refreshener only. Finish the whole tank, battery hot like hell and dont feel anything. Lol...

Finally I made it past the 5 post. Sharing my setup here. If not allowed, please remove.

My humble recommendation to you sir is a VW box mod which can be an Eleaf iStick 100w or XCube II or a Sigelei and if capacity is an issue, previously you mentioned that you carry couple of bottles, I definitely recommend Subtank Plus (7ml accepts its own coils or can use RBA if you want) or if its too big, maybe Crown Uwell or Smok TFV4 (also coil system with RBA support). I think a combination from these will meet your needs. I am sure advanced users will correct or approve my suggestion.

Oh please if you ever choose a sub-ohm setup, please please please spare time to read about batteries and safety because subohming requires high rate discharge batteries and if you follow safety instructions it is not a big deal to deal with subohm setups .

Edit 1: Just in case if you don't know:

VW: Variable Wattage
VV: Variable Voltage
VT: Variable Temperature

Xcube have all, Eleaf is VW and VV if I am not wrong Sigelei I dont remember the model name but it is a solid box mod brand as I saw loads of fans love the brand.

Edit 2: Example for high rate discharge 18650 batteries, Samsung 25R, LG HE2, LG HE4, LG HG2...
