Hi all
Just picked up a Halo Triton II and a sample pack of Halo juice plus Prime15 liquid all with 12mg nicotine.

Long time smoker 40 plus years, tried 3 different liquids all are tasting for a word burnt i suppose.
Is this normal or am i possibly doing something wrong. I dont expect to replicate smoking but thought taste may have been better.
Any help appreciated ....got a lot to learn

Cheers

Steve

Urgh... Halo...

Halo make products which should have gone away really.
High PG/high flavoring liquid that was already outdated from the arrival of newbie-grade sub-ohm equipment.

I use to admire them. Now, they just annoy me. I didn't like one thing at the last convention and boy is all their stuff soooo expensive.

Keep the hardware, switch to nicer juice and then don't go back for more hardware. They simply re-brand everybody else's equipment to enhance their pensions and fund yachts in the Bahamas.

The tank you have is almost certainly made by Eleaf.
In fact, I use an identical coil to that almost every day. Halo (on the website) don't even have the courtesy to tell you how many you get in a pack.... :-x

They need a) to be primed well and b) to be used on a variable power mod to get them really vaping well.
They are also very poor for the first few uses....

Good luck.

If your power settings can't be changed then the coil just might not have been saturated enough.

Yes, that is the almost certainly the answer. I have to offer tutorials to new vapers who want to use Eleaf GS coils. The holes are small, you have to prime them quite enthusiastically to avoid the nasty dry taste.

Hi guys
All good now just did not prime properly. Coil is 0.75 ohm by the way. Power setting cannot be changed.
Now to find some flavours
Good news. Having totally rubbished Halo (Yes, I really detest this business model) I would say be careful with very high VG liquids. OK, so high PG isn't the way to go but the Eleaf air coils are good with 50/50 or 60% VG. For these coils I tend to make liquid in the 50-65% VG region. Today's mix is black honey tobacco creme. It's come out a bit thick (too keen with the VG!) but seems OK. :)
