A lot of thing I picked up I learnt from when things went wrong, the usual thing like no vapour, flooded tanks, coils not firing properly.

I learnt about coils and wire to save money on factory kanger coils (the really old ones that could be rebuilt)

Batterys and ohms law was when I moved onto mech mods.

Products I learn because of my shinyitis (the need to buy shiney things)

You'll pick it up as you go along but as long as your here on the forum we're here to help if you get stuck, we've learnt it all so you dont have to

If its bubbling it could be its flooding. Vodka is great for cleaning tanks plus you can have a drink while waiting for it to soak

I dont really use tanks now but when I did I just used to clean them when I changed flavours unless it was in the sun a lot and the juice went all dark and watery then I'd empty it and clean it.

Coils I used to have to change every week thats why I started rebuild them but if you can change the coil without emptying the tank that to me is better.

Diptips I always wash every day or more. A wash under a hot tap only takes a minute

I only drip occasionally, mostly I use tank type atomizers. When I clean the tanks & all the odds 'n ends that need cleaning I prefer Everclear Grain Alcohol.

If you want to have a milder menthol flavor without anything else (dessert or fruity flavors) just get some unflavored e-liquid in the nicotine strength you've chosen and dilute it until you get the taste you want. I've read others say that it's very hard to duplicate the taste of a regular cigarette. But, that's not a bad thing since there's so many flavors out there. Most find something that they like even better than their cigs and once they find the flavors they like they can't believe they ever liked the taste of a cigarette. For me, unflavored e-liquid works fine. Vaping tastes different but satisfying in that you can get your nicotine, throat hit, and "smoke" (vapor) without the nasty smell and taste of regular cigarettes. (or the danger) Don't give up the search for a liquid you like and if I were you, I wouldn't go on a search for a different set up. The one you have is great and should serve you well.
