Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Hi guys first post on the site and i have a few questions about these e-cig vapour things.

I am currently awaiting my shipment of e-cigs from Jac Vapour. I have purchased the VIP starter kit with an extra battery and some extra flavours.

I am looking at giving up the smokes (analogs) and currently smoke about 25 a day. After having a quick look on the site i now think i have wasted my money with these small battery type e-cigs as they might not last long enough for my needs so i am looking at a bigger/longer lasting setup.

Can anyone suggest a setup that will last a days use from UK suppliers and something that will last me a good while. I would like to start with something that is not too big to use outside or at work I don't mind spending good money if it is going to last me a decent period of time.

I am struggling to understand what all of the bits are on the vape Escape site with regards to atomisers, cartomisers, clearomisers or cartridges.

Any advice will be most welcome.

Regards
Stuart

Hi Stuart and welcome to ECF. Here's some info:

Different delivery systems:- note bolded Atty, Carto, etc is the abbreviated form.

Atomizer/ Atty- an element on to which 3-4 drops of juice is dripped- usually used for testing new juices because Attys are easy to clean. There are some diehard Atty users because it’s the best vape possible but very time consuming.

Cartridge/ Cart- a container with sponge (filled with juice) that is used with the Atty- juice drips on to Atty from filled cart and is vaporized- older outdated first “tank” system and prone to leaks unless the user is willing to buy extra seals and “fiddle” with them.

Cartomizer/ Carto- metal tube with stuffing and element. Holds anywhere form 1- 4 ml of juice. Carto is fully saturated and must be occasionally refilled when juice runs out. My Cartos last 1-2 weeks. Best Cartomizer I’ve found is the Smok Tech XL 1.7 single coil. Boge 2.0 ohm cartos will give a cooler vape. Always use single coil cartos with 3.3- 3.7 PVs for the best vape.

Carto+Tank- a Carto with a hole punched in it. Carto is than placed in a glass, metal or plastic tank which is filled with juice- juice saturates Carto by way of hole in Carto. My Cartos with a tank last, before tight draw occurs: light juices- 80-90 ml. dark juices- 50-60 ml.

Clearomizer (includes the Stardust and the Vivi Nova Tank)- a plastic or metal tank with a wick and element. Contains NO stuffing. The rebuildable clearos come with heads (coil+ wick) that can be cheaply and easily replaced. When the head burns out simply unscrew the old head out and screw in new head- takes 10 secs. My Vivi Nova heads are lasting about 1+ weeks BUT I wash the heads every few days. I've found the Vivi Nova to give the best draw. If buying make absolute sure it's the Vision brand Mini Vivi Nova 2.0 ml.

Vape Escape is a highly regarded vendor on your side of the pond.
After 5 posts wait 1 hr for the ECF servers to reset and you can post in the UK Forum
Chrissie is a wealth of knowledge and has a list of reputable vendors with discount codes.

Get a decent variable voltage mod that has replaceable batteries. I hear Vamo is pretty good for the price. Then get about three to four 18350 batteries to carry around and you are good. Problem with built in batteries is that, sooner or later, you will find yourself out of batteries at a time you need it the most.

As for recommendations, I really like (and highly recommend) Ego-C Twist and Vision Spinner batteries because they offer variable voltage, which is an extremely useful feature. I use them with changeable coils (for easy maintenance) clearomizers, like Tabac BCC,/Kanger T3 and eVod (those are bottom changeable coils); or top changeable coil model like Vision Mini ViVi Nova or eGo CC clearomizer.

I checked the LF website and it looks like they are out of stock, which is, unfortunately, not uncommon for them. So you may have to llok around. Once you get your 5 posts, I suggest you visit our UK Forum, where you'll be able to get more information about where to shop in the UK.

Happy vaping!

You haven't wasted your money at all. I've got the same starter kit and it's perfect. Especially for going out and work as it's small and portable. If you got two batteries it can easily last a day as you just charge them up using the portable charger that comes with the starter kit.

I also own a vgo 2 auto from Jac vapour which is a beast but I don't take it out with me as it is a bit like a cigar. But is good for home use.

As you are just starting out the v1p starter kit you have ordered is perfect.

Welcome, Stuart, and congratulations!

First, read this section:

ECF InfoZone - The is the E-cigarette Forum Information Zone, for all your ecig needs

Then come back and ask some more questions.

I know of two good UK vendors: Liberty Flights (for hardware, 20% for ECF members) and Decadent Vapours for eliquids. Of course, there are many more.

E-Liquid - E Liquid UK - E Cig Liquid

I am also in the UK and I started vaping 1 month ago after a bunch of work colleagues all succesfully stopped smoking. They all used Liberty Flights, and so I followed suit. I havn't used any other vendors for comparison, but the website is good, the hardware all seems solid (Vision Ego starter kit with 900mAH usb batteries, various clearomizers) and the juices are good, especially the XO range.

Also delivery is super quick and only 99p if its non-recorded!

They always seem to be out of spinners at libery flights. you can get your hands on a spinner from vapeescape.

Welcome Stu, I've just started vaping 2 days ago and still getting used to it. Had many of the same questions and wasn't sure where to go as also in the UK (N.Ireland). I haven't used Liberty Flights yet but they come with a good reputation, Vape Escape also, Totally Wicked are good for equipment and juice (their Patriot Range is excellent) but their prices are steep. Thankfully they have flash sales throughout the day.

I started with an Ego-C kit direct from Joyetech UK, ordered on a Friday afternoon and delivered Saturday morning!! Got some juice free with it but I think it may be too strong nic level. I'm waiting on a delivery of juice from Welcome - Puffin E-Liquid UK - Premium Grade Gourmet E-Liquid following a recommendation. They are based in Belfast with free UK delivery on all juice orders.

Aside from that I've heard people talk highly of the juice from House of Liquid The Finest eLiquid Brands Worldwide (based somewhere in Europe).

So i started using my e-cigs on friday and haven't used an analoge yet. I have been using my kits quite a bit but at least they aren't stinkies.

I don't think the JacVapour kit will be getting used much, it might do for when i am at work for now. I have been using the Riva/Kanger MT3's alot more but one of the MT3's has failed on me already after a day and a halfs use.

Today i received another kit. I opted for a Kanger 650 battery and 2 evod clearomizers and some extra coil heads.
Pretty happy with the evod's so far but it is early days and this kit just may be my out and about kit after the JacVapour kit has run it's course. I will be looking for a nice small case for it if i decide to use it when i am out, maybe a small S/S tube that will protect it from bumps when in my pocket and a smaller one for a spare evod would be ideal.

Anyone seen any tubes or cases that would fit my kit inside of it instead of a lanyard?

Congrats and very well done

Yes the Riva fires quite nicely and although I don't own an Evod I hear good things about them.

You could get a soft case (goes in pocket) or a belt attached mini flashlight holder.
