Hi - another newbie

I stumbled on e-cigs in my hometown of London and picked up a disposable Vapor Stick in a pharmacy. I really liked it and when I got home to Boston I ordered a thing called Hello Jewels which I'll be honest, I purchased because it's shiny and I hadn't done much research.

It was fine for a few days but then this 2 pack a day girl started craving analogs and after research and reading this site I decided to buy a Joye eGo. I found a great retailer in Saugus MA called Eastern Vapor and went in this morning. The guy who runs it was great, set it up for me, let me try out different flavors and I'm thrilled with it. It was great to be able to go in and actually speak to someone as the info can be a bit overwhelming.

The hard part is explaining it to my husband but as long as I can keep off the analogs I'm a happy girl.

Love this forum and hope to keep expanding my non existent knowledge base.

Hi sibsie, welcome to ECF and congrats. As long as you're off the stinkies there's no "splaining" to do. Once hubby sees that the Ecig is a viable cessation device and is working for you he'll come around.
Good Luck and Happy vaping.
P.S, Perhaps you could order a flavor that he would like to smell. I do that to my wife all the time and she believes because of some of the flavors she's gained 5 lbs

Welcome Sibsie! I love my eGo T, for now, it's perfect for me. I knew I didn't want the small cig like pv and after doing much reading here settled on the eGo T. I use an atomizer and a cartridge and so far am really happy with this setup. No problems filling the cartridges, love trying all the different juices. Lots of great info, and folks here to help us noob's along the way! Best to you.

i think every vaper owner should have at least a VV mod and a standard voltage pv.

excuse my ignorance but what is that? I have an eGo-T with a Smok Dual Coils.

VV mod is a variable voltage mod. It can be anything from a cheap MadVapes box mod to a ProVari. It allows you to get a stronger or weaker hit, by increasing or decreasing voltage.

Standard voltage PVs are usually set around 3.4 or 3.7 volts. The eGo is constant at 3.4 volts, and works really well with the SmokTech dual coil cartos.

Ego-t severed. Me well for the last year anda half! Finally upgrading to a more complex setup because i have the time... And money :) if you didnt get the tank system you should look into that when you need to get more supplies. The tank system gave me a more consistent and more enjoyable hit. Good luck ecigs made it so easy for me to quit!
