I decided last week that it was time to really consider giving up the "butts".I had heard about e-cigs but never gave them a serious thought. I just knew that I had to try something. I didn't do a lot of research(stupid me) so I ordered the first one that looked good to me...not knowing anything about e-cigs. I ordered the blu which by the way still has not come. I then found this great forum and have been on it constantly for 3 days. I then ordered the vapor king the next day, because of everything that I read on here. (It is being delivered today...yay.) Due to all my reading and all the great info you guys give, I gave myself a panic attack and went back on V4L and ordered a BUNCH of extra cartomizers and juice. Then continued reading. (yes guilty of lurking for many days..lol) So now I see that a lot of people are talking about Ego's because of the bigger battery. I know I am getting way ahead of myself but am now considering getting one. My question....The thought of dripping really turns me off but am very excited about refilling. Can you use VK cartomizers with the Ego? Do I need to get an adapter in order to do it? I like the idea of a battery lasting longer, but still like the concept of cartomizers. I am so excited about starting today. Feels like Christmas!!!!

The Vapor4Life is a KR808-D. The eGo is a 510. So, in order to use an eGo battery and a V4L carto you would need an adapter. Although the 808 and the 901 have the same threading, make sure you get an adapter that specifically says 808. (The 808 doesn't have air holes in the carto so you need an adapter with little air channels.)

You can get a 510-->808 adapter for under $6 at:
cloudsofvapor.com
madvapes.com
goodprophets.com
cigtechs.com
eliquidplanet.com

Check Strell's master list for discounts.

If you find you prefer the eGo battery, you can also get cartomizers for the 510.

Hey cinjay welcome. When I first started to vape I started with a blu. It got me off anaologs so I can't complain about it too much. The v4l cig is ok too. My advice is to wait until you actually get a kit in your hands and then start back on your shopping spree. All these models #s of kits are just overwhelming to a noob. The blu is a 510 conection and v4l is a 808/901 thread. Once you get one in hand it makes a little more sense. If you don't like what you already bought then go shopping.

I am currently smoking 1 1/2 to 2 packs a day. Have been smoking for 38 years. New grand daughter has changed my whole outlook on life.
I know I should have waited to get my kit,but this whole new thing is so fascinating to me. I just want to know there are options out there for me when I start graduating to bigger and better things. And I know if I have questions, this forum is the place to run to. You guys are amazing!!!
