Okay, so i'm fed up spending $100 a week or more on juice, i might as well go back to smoking at that point. I've been vaping off and on for 4-5 years and in the last 5 months i haven't had a cigarette with no urges. But the frustration i'm getting with DIY has me debating it >.<

So here is the deal, I bought a 60/40 premix with 3mg of nicotine to just start and give it a shot. I'm currently on a low nicotine as it is when I purchase it anyways so with it being diluted .05%-1% doesn't bother me much. What does bother me is after the days and days of reading I still can't seem to get a decent batch mixed up and I'd prefer not to waste anymore.

So here are the flavors that i have to choose from that I really just want to keep simple and have them single with nothing else. (Other than the sour of course)

TPA: Sweet & Tart (With intentions on making Sweet Tarts or possibly Shockers)
TPA: Rainbow Drops (With intentions on making Skittles)
TPA: Green Apple
TPA: Sour
TPA: Gummy Candy (With intentions on making a sour gummy bears)
FW: Cookies & Cream
FW: Fruity Flakes (With intentions on making Slurp)
FW: Hard Candy (With intentions on making a Jolly Rancher)
FW: Peach
I can't seem to figure out what brand this is: Red Energy (Obviously Red Bull, It's one of my favorites and I vape 1-2 bottles of it a day from the store)

I also have 1 10ml syringe, 1 5ml syringe, 2 1ml syringes, and a few 10 ml bottles and if i cleaned and re-used my old 30ml bottles laying around, I probably have 100 of them around in the garage alone.

I have attempted 2 30ml bottles of TPA-Gummy Candy and one of them was with 2ml of flavor in a 30ml bottle, ended up being WAY too much and was soapy. Tried again with 1ml of flavor in a 30ml bottle and my buddy says it's perfect and so do his co-workers. To me it seemed too "Perfumy" I also mixed up a 10ml bottle of FW-Fruity Flakes and added .35ml of flavor, I feel like if I would have added .2ml it would have been perfect but my buddy will be over after work to give it a try and see what he thinks.

We are both using the Smok TFV4 5ml tank with the quad coil and have never been disappointed in a juice unless it was just not our cup of tea. We also have a few drippers lying around that we no longer use (This tank is amazing, if you're looking for a tank quit looking and get this one).

So if I could get a little advice i would greatly appreciate it! Everyone has recipes and i'm looking to basically make each of these single unless something I already have is going to go well together. I would prefer not to buy anymore until I at least have a few of these down pat. If you have ever done this or are going to say anything other than "Use the e-juice calculator" (I have, and with everything premixed it doesn't help me much) I would appreciate it. My intentions were to throw in flavor (obviously with different percentages depending on flavors) and vape (Unless steeping was required, but most of these are candy and I should be alright).

Please end my suffering!!

Thank you in advance,

Brandon

I'm starting to kind of get that the single ingredient process isn't going to go as I thought. I know somewhere in what I have there has to be something that could be mixed to make a good flavor, I'm just having issues with the percentage of flavor to put in.

I have no problem getting flavor, my problem is that it's TOO much flavor. Maybe my taste buds are throwing me off as this is all new to me, but whatever i'm doing, i'm doing all wrong. >.<

I've tried looking at the recipes but my god, some people are throwing together 5-10 flavors in each one! I feel as a newbie I just don't think that's something I should be getting into until I have a better grasp of everything. Does anyone have a few ideas of what I could mix with what I already have and give me some percentages?

And to make sure I have things right, the ones I labeled as TPA (Just going off what I was reading, I could be completely wrong) might not be that. They are Flavor Apprentice, is that the same?

I know you probably don't want to hear this, but I've never found any single TFA or FW or CAP flavoring that has made a vapable eliquid for me, though others I'm sure have found some. Everything I've made (from as simple as only 3 flavoring mixes to some with as many as 6), has been very good and vapable as soon as I've made it.

IMO, you really need at least some of what I think of as "blender" flavorings (ie. sweet cream, vanilla swirl, bavarian cream, marshmallow, etc.) and some sweetener of some kind (ie. TFA Sweetener or TFA Cotton Candy). That's why most recipes you're finding have a variety of similar ones.

You DO already have some flavorings that could be made into simple, great-tasting ,eliquids...IF you had even some of the above things, too.

Or, you could take a look at OneStopDIY Shop online, and get some of their One Stop Blends (ie. Lucky Shot, etc.). With those...you use just your PG, VG, Nic, and about 7-10% of one of the Blends. They also have One Stop Flavors that are good as well (ie. Baked Cinnamon Roll, Strawberry Milk, Olde Time Root Beer, Southern Sweet Tea, etc.). Those you would use like the Blends...just PG, VG, Nic, and the Flavor.

I hope that helps, or is at least something for you to possibly consider.
