Hi all I bought and just returned a cheap pv that I wasn't happy with. And I bought the whole kit and kaboodle at vapor 4 life ,juice, pass through ,case . I love the idea of vaping even with the cheap one used it in a bar and office and it was funny how I felt guilty like I was doing something wrong but nobody gave me a 2nd look. Can't wait to get my Mother's day gift to me LOL. Been smoking for years and know I have to quit . Any advice would be great only good news I hope . don't want to return another and just enjoy it . vaping while watching t.v. on the computer would be a dream . My family already told me they don't mind cause no smell. Yeah.

Welcome to ecf and congrats! Before I purchased my KR808, I came here to see what was recommended for newbies. I haven't been disappointed. Hopefully you bought one off that list :). As far as vaping in public, I believe, as others do that most of us follow the same smoking rules as set for analogues. When I first started resisted the urge to show off my new toy. However, it's all good so have fun.

If you keep the cartos damp with eliquid then you should be able to get 4-7 days use out of each. Note - if you bought auto batteries then you need to be super extra careful that the carto is not going leak before you put it back on the battery. Carto leaks can kill auto batteries much more easily because autos have a necessary drag sensor right inside the hole at the threaded end of the battery and liquid on that sensor can short the battery or make the switch stick.

When you pop the soft cap of a carto to add juice, I use an unbent paperclip and only stick it in just far enough to pop the top. You don't want to catch stuffing and especially not the wire loop that may be near the center. For my all-days cartos I usually use a plastic drip tip as a mouthpiece. I find the tip smaller and more comfortable (especially with a hot WOW cart). But I don't drip through them - that would aim juice at the central air path of the carto. I get the drip tips at LiteCigUSA.net - those clear color plastic ones fit pretty well as should the black delrin. I don't use metal - it gets cold and I don't want metal touching that wire in the carto.

Welcome to the group. I was stuck up in Jersey for about 15 years.
This group is a great place to learn, and I find that if you check this group several times a day, it is also a great way to not think about smoking those ciggies. The support that comes through the computer screen is almost palpable.
