Mark is right. Ethanol and Benzyl (Alcohol) is common... especially with thicker tobacco absolutes (which can be quite thick), binding flavoring/oils (of which rose oil is a common ingredient in e-liquid)and VG based liquid thinning. It also helps a bit with throat hit on ho hum liquids at lower voltages. Besides, most attys only heat (with the liquid on the atty) at around 160-180 degrees.

@ Shannon65 - If there was worry of fire, we'd all been running around with our heads on fire 2-3 years ago when it was a common ingredient in Chinese and other start-up USA liquid companies. LOL

OMG, that sign!!

OT-

When I was a little kid I went out to dinner with my parents and a waitress was carrying one of those big trays with flaming shish-ka-bobs. I'm dating myself, but she had one of those big beehive hairdo's and I guess it was the hairspray or laquer but her whole hair caught on fire. It looked just like that sign! OMG I can still remember that! It probably just singed her hair but she looked like a human candle.

I'm still alive. Went to Hobby Lobby and bought 2 3.7 ml dram Creme de Menthe for almost $4. Tried a drop on a 1 ml Camel ejuice (which I thought was strong). That Creme de Menthe really took over the flavor. Then I tried to clean the atty and still can't get the minty flavor out if it.

No side effect after vaping 1 cartridge other than the very dry throat and mouth I've been getting.

Made up my mind, I'll stick to the juices from the stores and keep in touch here.

Lesson I learned: drop stubbornness, the genius wannabe attitude and pride. Listen to the pros and read more and no matter what stick to it and ask, ask, ask...

Thanks all of you, you've been of great help.

I cut my VG vanilla flavored juice with about 10% Stoli.

I caught fire twice and burned the barn down. The plastic surgeon says in a few years they will be able to grow noses, ears, etc. in a petri dish. I'm looking forward to that.

So, I decided to just start mainlining the juice. No TH, and the seizures are really a bummer, but I'm saving a lot of money on carts and attys.
