Newer vapor build question

When I first bought a mech mod I would do a few builds a day all around .2 ohms. I bought some thicker wire bc everone said the lower the ohms the more vapor. After discovering what I enjoy in a vape I find that a .4 - .6 ohm single coil build with 24 or 26 gauge seems to put out just about as much vapor as the lower ohms. Also, anything below .4 just kills the battery sooooo quick and is not worth destroying your battery life over. I like using thinner wire bc it heats up quicker. Honestly after buying my first VW (Variable Wattage) device I barely ever use the mech mod. I can use thin wire and build a .8 or so ohm build and push more wattage hrough it if I really wanna chuck clouds. The thin wire heats very quickly so there is no delay from when you push the button till you can start pulling on it. Just my 2 cents.

to me building has everything to do with the mod fired on, it's optimal target zone, and the vape potential of the rba being built. Acquired my Magmas before high watt box mods were available. Magie can handle very high watts easily, without getting over heated. So, started at 0.30, and worked me way down to 0.15ish.

For most of my box mods, target 0.5-0.8 ohms, since that's where most of them have optimal potential and design use. I also purrrfer 24 & 26 gauge Kanthal A1, for most my builds, and 22 for a few. I always try to maximize the build deck area with as much coil to wick as possible, while hitting me target ohms, so depending on the rba, # of coils used, type of build,......... determines wire selected.

Vape is all about balance and optimizing ones gear and capabilities.

Vape long and Prosper.!!!
