New to vape, haven't had a ciggy in 6 days.
I am here to learn, and share what I've learned when I can.
I'll say right away that I'm the quiet one,
So I can't promise a ton of chatter.
I've read through the stickies above and understand the rules,
and, I know how to look for answers before asking a question.

My story kinda goes like this...
I turned 40 in May, guess I had my first cig at 13/14.
for half the time Im sure I smoked about 1.75 packs/day.
My son asked me to quit smoking last week, so I did.
The wife and I went to a local vapor shop and got set up.
He seemed knowledgable and they weren't pushy at all.
He talked to us for about 45 minutes and made us happy.
I'm using a kanger aerotank with a itazte vv battery.
I have been mixing 1/4 tobacco & 3/4 root beer,
with high nicotine levels.
Think I'll try grape jolly rancher next.
I decided on this setup knowing absolutely nothing about it,
except that I didn't want to smoke cigs anymore.

I'm very happy with the whole decision.
I really want to learn as much as I can about this new world I've discovered.
I've done a little research in the week since I've had it,
Some of it is really overwhelming, but I think I'm thinking too hard.
I'm hoping to find some guidance and some wisdom here.
Thanks for having me

Welcome!

I quit for my kids as well. One of the best decisions I've ever made in life. It's hard at first but it does get better with time. With everything out there it can get a bit overwhelming. IMO vaping can be as simple or as complicated as you make it. Take your time. The most important part is that you've made the switch.

Hello and welcome Clutch!

You,ve got a great first setup. Your mod even has it's own group: The Innokin iTaste VV V3 owners group. Even though I do not own this mod I do have a couple of other mods by Innokin (the MVP & the VTR) and they are all by a well respected company.

Here are some reviews of the iTaste VV by a couple of well respected reviewers in the community:

1. A PBusardo Review - VapeOnly BCC Mini & iTaste VV V3 The review starts at around the 10 minute mark.
2. GrimmGreen Review - INNOKIN'S ITASTE VV V3 WIN

I do however have many tanks by Kanger, including the Aerotank. if you have any questions, ask away!:)

Thank you guys for that.
A lot of what has helped has been the fact that
My setup, to me, is in initself a huge distraction from smoking,
I will learn to "fiddle" with everything to get it tuned just right.
I get to fill the tank up, get together, and carry, a road pack.
I get to watch videos and read posts about it.
And I get to put it to my lips and get nicotine from it.

I'm about 14 hours shy of an entire week without cigs.
Longest I've gone since I started.

I'm sure all the questions I have now have all been answered a few times,
I'll spend a ton of time reading and trying things before I'll have anything tricky for you

If you reply a few more times in your thread you will get your number of posts up to 5 and be able to ask questions in most places on the site.

Well done and good luck on your vaping journey!

Exactly what I'm trying to do! lol OP, this will be the best decision health wise. I can exercise like a normal human being now after being off analogs. I've been off for over a year now but it only took a month for me to start seeing positive effects!

to ecf Clutch. Just let me say you have come to the right place for learning just about anything. The people here are absolutely wonderful and I don't know what I would have done without some of them. So glad you are here. :)

I'm glad to know I got a good setup, it's hard to take a salesmans word on anything,
Especially when they hold your hand, and give you all kinds of warm fuzzies, then ask for money.
I know I'm gonna lose a lot of sleep reading through all these pages.

Welcome! I finally found my way to the VV3 after a handful of other expenditures. Love my VV3, but I love its bigger brother MVP2. I consider myself a chain-vaper, and I'll get about 3 times the mileage (vapeage?) from the MVP before recharging.

I've lost a lot of sleep browsing these forums too. Do a little homework - the burnt taste sounds like your coil might be gunking up and needs to be replaced/cleaned/rebuilt.

Good luck to you and stay the course :)
