Yes we will replace the few ss vtubes that got Chrome top caps. Please just contact our support team. As we said earlier, please do not use destructive method to check it is ss or not. You can tell by comparing the colors between the top cap and the body. The chrome top cap has a subtle bluish color.
Good to hear directly from sunny. Question: Are you going to replace the whole unit or just the top caps?

Lets say "someone" scratched their top on purpose to check, and sure enough, it was the FAKE SS!
...but they STILL Wanted and were willing to pay for the REAL SS top- how much are you going to charge them for just the top...

ps. I really love it, but it bothers me knowing its top is chrome, and already scratched (not just where I scratched it) from carrying it in my back pocket at work this last week, so All steel is the only way to go for me.

We will replace the whole unit because we do not have spare top caps.

Wouldn't it make more sense to just have some top caps made instead of eating the whole mod?
OK- That's weird, but what if they scratched (w/dremmel) the top, body and bottom. Will you still swap the entire thing out?

I'm guessing to have the factory set up to run a couple dozen (or whatever) caps would be pretty pricey. Probably just cheaper to "eat" a few units, and then maybe sell the screwed up ones as ding and dent, to offset some of the loss, or possibly hold onto them and part them out if needed.
Just confirming that the next batch of SS tubes has the original electronics and not any of the newer version 1.5 or 2 or whatever in them.
From what has been said before, all batches will be identical to the first batch. So... no updated guts. The only updates are to the body alone.
Just the one. I ordered some spares a couple of weeks ago because of that, and got lucky and found some on sale for $4 and some change. Now I have plenty of battery power, but nothing to put them in yet.
I broke down and ordered one of the 'new' version LT today. I know Apollo is doing their best, but I am not sure enough that they will be able to get it to me before I climb on the plane. Plus how bad can it be to have 2 LTs?

Any word on these things yet? Tracking numbers? Arrival date? They came in yesterday and are already in the mail?
Here is the DHL tracking # for usa shipment: 7743256662. We should receive it in next few days, and ship out all backorders by end of this week or early next week.
