I havn't gotten a shipping notice yet. I wonder if I hit the refresh button more often on outlook if it will speed up shipping.
Yes copper can turn green over time.
I metal detect as a hobby. I find old wheat pennies and Indian Head pennies that are green.
If you get a copper lavatube,you probably wouldn't let it to that point.
1st it would take too long to turn green.
2nd, you wouldn't let it get to that point ,as you would probably polish it fairly regularly.
In the Florida Keys, copper skips the turning green stage and goes straight to black.

I have one of the NotCigs' first-generation Infinities, the brass model that became copper when the Korean machine shop that produced the tubes decided there was no difference.
If Apollo's copper Vtubes are anything like my Infinity, be prepared for daily maintenance, because the little SOB will tarnish like the reputation of a Girl Scout turned porn actress. I let it go, and it has considerable character like a well-worn pair of Levis, but you're likely not to see it that way.

I think Apollo has been really been patient with their supplier and they are trying to make things right with there customers. I think they just don't want to drop the ball I think they want to make sure they send out a good quality product to there customers and get it right the first time. I'm in the service industry too so I know we're they are coming from. I order one a month ago and very excited to get my new SS Lavatube.
I'm sure your right, so I'm not surprised nobody has received tracking info just yet. I would assume they are checking the devices somewhat prior to shipment. Still would be nice to see a picture.......Hint.....Hint.....

Hi all, I just found this thread and feel like it explains a lot about what has been going on here. I think Apollo was offered SS v tubes and took them up on it. They put it up for pre order and then got a sample and realized the sample was not what they were promised and in turn had already promised us. Then I think Apollo decided rather than just say thanks but no thanks to L Rider they successfully held them to their promise and that my friends is why we are getting the only SS V Tubes that look like these. I believe Apollo has been threw major horror (already got a warning about naughty words on here so I say horror) with this whole transaction and they probably wish they never started it but they did stay the course and will deliver to us what was promised even if at a later date. Thanks for all you went threw to keep your word Apollo. I will not be in the 1st batch as I ordered on 3/25 but I will get a killer looking V Tube when I do get it. Also I bet Apollo won't make near the profit from these that they expected in the beginning and I will be ordering some other supplies from them as I need them because I feel they went threw a horrid experience to bring these to us and that's the least I can do. I think we and Apollo all learned different things from this experience and will hopefully all take something positive away from it. Good luck in the future Apollo and good luck to the rest of you who are getting an awesome SS V Tube. The best things come to those who wait and we we did wait LOL
