nexmesh subohm tank O Ring install issue

I got a nexmesh sub-ohm tank and have been using it for a week, I am changing the preinstalled glass to the included bubble glass and i cant figure out how to get the oring that goes on the part the glass rests on above the vents to fit properly and have the glass be secure. The o Ring has a lip on it and i have tried a number of ways to put the oring in and none of them have resulted in a tank that goes on securely. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks i tried that one last time the other night and when i added the top of the tank and twisted all the o=rings engaged so now the tank is securely in place.
