Initially I was reluctant to get the eleaf istick. Thanks to my fat hands and breaking my Hana 510 connection I rushed to order an eleaf for a quick replacement. I have been very happy with my iStick, however compared to my other box mods, I believe the iStick can be much more. My short list, and a work in progress;

Must KEEP! Recessed 510, (DO NOT GO THE WAY OF THE MVP v2!)

What I would like to see in the next version of the Eleaf iStick.

  • RMS modulation since this seems to be standard used most widely
  • Adjustable 510 connection
  • 30w capable
  • Slightly increased size that fits 22mm atty's better
  • 510 moved to the curved side. (Realize this would increase the length of the device, I think it would be worth it for the overall improvement in form factor)
  • User programable screen options, (puff/seconds count, button lock, stealth mode, etc.)
  • Charging plug moved from the bottom
  • Changeable 18650 battery, not critical as it can pass-through
  • Lower the minimum ohm capability to 0.5
  • Loose the fingerprint magnet chrome caps

So, instead of one thread with all the pertinent information, your solution is to have multiple thread with the same information? That would be less time consuming and more efficient?

If a device is worth owning, it's worth reading about, IMO (or at least searching through the thread).

And for the record, since posts per page are user defined, it's currently only at 111 pages.

The biggest thing you need to realize is that the price is critically important , you can't add all the extras without losing it's bargain attraction. As long as a device is deemed as a disposable device it needs to be kept very affordable and a lot of the above wants will make that impossible.

ELeaf will never offer the ideal device since every single person does not want the same features , some love it as is while others aren't happy until it fits their preferences perfectly .

When something takes the market by storm it means the device hits on most if not all marks for the widest variety of people and thats a home run .

You don't mess with that kind of success because some are unhappy and want more features, you will never satisfy everybody , the goal is to satisfy as many as you can and they have.

My ideal version would be:
RMS modulation
Accurate ohm readout
Make it so voltage remains constant instead of dropping dramatically when 25%-50% battery drain. When it drops it still reads the original readout which is inaccurate to begin with but is way off once it drops.
recessed spring loaded 510 connection
Keep it at 20w
keep original size
Keep chrome buttons and caps
The charging location is inconvenient but I prefer it.

I just want more accurate electronics, other than that no change at all.:)

Your preferences are very realistic , they should be able to do this while keeping the price low.

Wow it would be the perfect MOD!
