I have a V-Tube now and I love it. It is just a Lave tube under another brand name. The new body style is great. Here is a link to that if that's the route you wanna go. BTW. Apollo is an awesome company too. ss chrome

Mine is a VTube as well. I agree Apollo is a great vendor. The only problem right now is that all the really cool looking ones, including the stainless and chromed models, are the original version 1, no matter where you get them. volcano has a beautiful Lavatube, but it's a version 1 and they're asking $99 for it. Even the new Lambo looks great, but it's a ver.1.
I suspect that, before long, they'll be uprading the electronics in some of the L.Rider lavatubes we're seeing in chrome and colors now. Apollo won't be making the stainless ones again. They lost money on that deal. But a chrome mini with a 3.2amp limit and the updated electronics would be killer.
OMG... Talk about lipstick on a pig.
If you're going to go that route, spend the extra $40 and get a Silver Bullet, not the cheezy knockoff. At least you'll have something decent when you "kick it". I wouldn't trust that $2 switch with the current the kick could feed it.
Nonsense! Those horn switches are rated at 3A @ 125V. They've been used in 100s of mods for years. It'll take it. I have one laying around I'm going to try it with. Never really took you for a form over function guy.
