I didn't however make the "Puck" actually. I made an Altoid kind with 3 batts as the 3.7v is enough for me. Same idea though, Puck inspired :)

Awesome! I also use blue painters tape to label all batts. I run the tape long around the batts so I can make a pull tab out of the excess. This way removing the batts is easy, dont need to pry with anything to get them out. Also I put the tape at the + pole as not to insert backwards. Credit SteelJan with the tape trick.

I made my first "Puck" AAA over a year ago, found they dropped off the voltage too fast FOR ME!! So I chain vape.....
Switched to AA 4-battery mods and haven't looked back..:)

I do still look around at some of the new "OH shiny" VV mods coming on the market, but $200 would be a year's supply of DIY nic base for me. (besides my GF complains when I cloud up the room too much already) Just can't pull the trigger to buy 'em....:)

Thank You ! :D Ya know I never even thought about pull out tabs ! I need to do that now  I just marked them by 'sets' so I use the same ones together. That way I remember which sets are the oldest, same mah etc. You just gave me something else to do :lol:
(I have carpal tunnel troubles in both hands, so the Puck was actually to 'Thick' is maybe what I want to say ? The Altoid and similar tins are more comfy for me to hold that's why I chose them)

Chain vaper here too  These AA mods are the best ! You really don't need anything else for ALL day vaping and the cost factor is better then Best ! That's my opinion anyways :)

I have made 3 18650 box mods in 4 days. I have a VV Lavatube, 2 weeks old. A Kicked Xhaler, 2 months old, and a couple others, all purchased. I haven't touched the ones I purchased in 3 days. I could buy a lot of parts with the $ from these commercial mods, hmmmmm....

Tell me about it. I could have saved a Boatload of money if I had known I could make my own mods over a year ago when I first started vaping.

Ok all you NiMh users who live in hurricane areas, check it out. I found a solar powered NiMh charger. Now there is no excuse to be without vape power. All tho every time I post something like this someone else chimes in and shows me a post from 2 yrs ago w the same thing.
Browse around the site they have battery racks to hold like 44 and 60 batts, they can be laid flat or wall mounted. There pretty cool for under $20.

Doesn't a hurricane imply a cloudy day?....:lol::lol::lol: J/K

Stosh, an astute observation on your part. I believe our fellow vapors have satisfactorily answered your question. So does the fact that you poke fun at my earth shattering discovery, say that I have your approval? or should I take your waskilly wabbit literally? If memory serves me correctly NJ doesn't really see too many hurricanes.
In all seriousness I know its all in good fun. But in the words of Metallica front man James Hetfield "Its all fun and games until somebody loses an eye".

I knew that, but just couldn't resist !!
As did I know regarding my response to your funny. But I have trouble passing up the chance to be a smartass whenever possible. If I do say so myself, A very well spoken smartass. Does that make me literally a smartass?

I bookmarked the link and as soon as I can will probaly get one since we started out the summer with a tropical storm. Last time a hurricane came through here I wasn't vaping. I do have the car charger attachment for a TR 001 as long as the truck batt. works. Wouldn't hurt to have a solar back up, though.

In NJ we have the a hurricane once in a while, along with blizzards, nor'easters, loads
of tractor trailers that take a utility pole somewhere ever morning commute.....

I carry 2 mods, quad-AA with spare batteries for each, 5 filled cartos, when I go to my GF's
place, and it's walking distance......

Yes I am actually from northern MA, so I can relate to the weather issues. Also as far as NJ goes I am a complete expert as I have seen every episode of The Sopranos, Twice. I'm just sorry that you are on the wrong side of the river. HEEHEE Once again I couldn't help myself.
