Nic Base and Flavoring

Hello everyone!

So, I'm ready to enter the world of DIYing my own juice. I have some questions:

1.) Who has the best VG nic base? I'm not necessarily looking for the least expensive so much as who has purest and cleanest. Does Xtremevaping or RTS have good VG Nic base?

2.) Who has the best plain VG?

3.) Who has the best price on Flavorart flavorings (from what I can see Liberty Flights has really good prices)?

4.) Lets say I get a 120ml bottle of 50mg nic base and I mix 18mg juice--how many finished mls of juice will I get with my nic base?

5.) I like my flavors fairly strong (but not totally overpowering), what percentage of Flavorart flavoring should I start with?

I will be DIYing fruit and tobacco flavors.

be carefull with the Flavorart I think they are really potent start with a low % here is my favorite e-juice calc I like it because it breaks down the cost per ml

Thanks for the advice. I agree, better to start with a tiny bit of flavoring then bump up as needed. Thanks for the calculator, I love the cost breakdown. Dang, I could make 30mls of finished juice for $4.77! Sure beats the $10 to $17 I've been paying per 30ml!

but i get the PG, 100ml bott, with 38mg nic, if i halve it all i can make almost 7x30ml bottles, i add my own VG, for $15.46 cant be bad, the flavs are good and very cheap, its a polish site, but the p&p is very good, it arrives in 3-5 days.....i cant grumble, oh the VG comes in 60ml botts.

38 mg will limit your available mix ratios. I order 60mg for mixing. Why, you may ask? Sixty is a multiple of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15 and 30. That's flexibility! Plus, in many cases, it's cheaper per mg/ml than other strengths.

this site has great prices on PG/VG I buy it buy the gallon if you get the combo of pg/vg you get free shipping and I get my nic when it goes on sale in 500ml bottles so a 60ml bottle of e-juice cost me about $2.40-$2.70 depending on how many flavors I use, I haven't bought vendor juice in months and as time goes on your DIYing gets really good when you start getting a feel for the flavors %

They have a great selection. I get flavors from their perfumer's apprentice section because they are stronger and you get a lot more for your buck. They also have a pg nic base which is really great.



I usually buy VG from a CVS or any other pharmacy.

Huh?....... Not sure what the multiple per ml is? Most of us measure by 1ml, .1ml and .01ml unless you are doing the drop method which is not very accurate especially in small amounts of finished juice. Most calculators I have seen can determine the number ml's of any mg of base nicotine you need to make an amount of a finished juice. In my experience the cost of nicotine goes down as you buy a higher strength and as you buy more.
