When I first started vaping I stocked way up on 100mg nic liq. Now it's all starting to look brownish. I'm assuming that's the nic reacting with the base? If the nic also degrading or what?

Search "nicotine oxidation". There's a ton of info out there regarding nicotine base liquid changing color.
To help reduce the oxidation put your nic solution in the freezer and just keep out what you'll use in 2 months. Best to store them in amber or blue glass bottles when freezing and make sure there full to the top. NIC in PG or VG does not expand like water so there's no danger of bursting bottles.

The freezer wouldn't slow down the oxidation at this point. I've tried it before. It just turned darker in the freezer. I have found with brown nic, the flavors will taste bland, or muted. tobacco flavors will taste good with brown nic, but not pina colada. Also I've noticed the tingle in the brown nic is a lot less. Brown nic and Ry1 is a good combo.
