Worked great - thanks for posting it. They got a couple of things wrong, but overall very positive.

Loved the comment by the woman anchor (Julie Banderas?) that they had some 'smart' people in the studio who pointed out how could e cigs be worse than cigarettes, in response to comments about FDA saying e cigs hadn't been proven safe. Also loved the clip of the UCLA doctor who seemed supportive of e cigs. The more doctors who approve of them, the better for us.

All-in-all, a great, positive clip.

To anyone with critical thinking skills, Fox is near impossible to watch.

Spoken like a true liberal. Critical thinking skills are not required with the other news organizations because they only report one side of the story and will not provide "critical" analysis of liberal politicians.

Fox is not perfect for sure, just more honest than the other 4.

The fact that "liberal" is a dirty word to you tells me all I need to know :)

Let's try to judge reports on their own merits and not so much on their source. Let's also refrain from politicizing this issue and this forum. I see enough of that crap at most of the other forums I visit and I am sick of it. Make it a practice to get your news from a variety of sources and also make it a practice not to label someone just because they have a different view of the world than yourself.

Exactly...besides, there's nothing to argue about anyway.

"In February 2003, a Florida Court of Appeals unanimously agreed with an assertion by FOX News that there is no rule against distorting or falsifying the news in the United States."
Lawyers paid by Bill O'Reilly's bosses argued in court that Fox can lie with impunity.
It's their right under the 1st Ammendment

"FOX asserted that there are no written rules against distorting news in the media. They argued that, under the First Amendment, broadcasters have the right to lie or deliberately distort news reports on public airwaves."

The court found in favor of Fox News

Now about THIS story...I liked it and thought it was good

So were gonna agree to tone down political talk and then the guy above me agrees with this WHILE posting a link to a far left kook site in the SAME POST?

And yes..I did say far left kook site (like the large Walter Kronkite quote on the bottom of the page doesnt make that obvious).....Im sure there is a ruling like that as I see ommisions and bias in the mainstream media daily.
And no I really dont want to start a debate on that.

P.S. Its a dead link to the actual story.Guess the Fox mafia put one to the head of the webmaster there. Fox was prob behind 9/11 too come to think of it.

Never thought I'd hear that about fox!

Hopefully it opens your eyes some. since you know about ecigs and you see a lot of these other news organizations reporting bogus one sided information you know it is false because you know ecig’s. I hope you start to realize all the other things that they report on that you are trusting to not be bogus one sided information (because you might not be as knowledgeable about the subject as you are with ecig’s) could be bogus one sided information.

I love to find stories in the news that I know about (like I witnessed it or have a lot of knowledge about the subject) and read the story on all of the news organizations I can find. It’s amazing how ether nobody gets it right or the bias opinion sticks out like a broken arm. To be honest I have found Fox to be fairer than the other major networks but still slanted. I personally have lost all faith in the media these days, they carry no credibility what so ever. Sometimes I can start to understand what’s going on but I have to read them all and read between the lines.

green-lantern said it better than I was able to. IMHO most of the news organizations in this country aren't worth much anymore. It's too much noise, people trying to talk over each other and much of it has morphed into entertainment T.V. I just don't want to wade through tons of junk to get to a good segment of coverage. I'm sure that I wasn't the only one who didn't care about the weeks of Anna N. Smith "breaking news" hijacking the networks. And don't even get me started with the (insert name of latest missing child) other distractions. Oh well...just ranting now, I guess.

Like said by Storyspinr, "Loved the comment by the woman anchor (Julie Banderas?) that they had some 'smart' people in the studio who pointed out how could e cigs be worse than cigarettes, in response to comments about FDA saying e cigs hadn't been proven safe." That was the part I hadn't heard much of in e-cig stories and, to us, that seems to be so obvious. Well, good on her! Kind of like something else I saw here in the forums but I can't remember for sure who said it. I 'think' it was Leaford who asked, "What's worse than death?"
