Hi, I'll be 3 weeks without a single "analog" this Friday night.

It was nearly instant for me. I had one smoke Friday evening 3 weeks ago before I figured out my setup.

I'm 27 and have been smoking for 6-7 years. Even though it's been 3 weeks, I haven't really noticed any major improvements except that I no longer reek like smoke. I thought my breaths were a little bit bit bit deeper after 48 hrs but I think that could just be placebo effect. Maybe I won't see significant improvement in lung function due to having only smoked for 6 years.

But, I'm really enjoying vaping! The taste is far better, it's far more convenient, and should start being less expensive pretty soon. So far, I've spent $265.00 on an ego c twist starter kit with 3 starter bottles of fairly awful juice and an assortment of clearo's/carts etc, a bottle of halo freedom, a bottle of halo cool mist menthol, a 30ml bottle "death by menthol" a 30ml of RY4 and a vision eternity rba.

This is long now, thanks for listening! Feel free to ask a newb anything!

Hi I was a smoker for 32yrs. And for those of you who have only smoked tobacco products for a few years the benifits of swithching to vapping may not be as dramatic as for instance me. I am no longer out of breath when climbing stairs, I no longer wake up hacking up a lung or cough in my sleep. The last straw came for me when I developed copd like symptoms from the fire proofing they put in real smokes. I can taste things properly again I can smell again not always a good thing :p the amount of toxins I flooded my body with just blows my mind. Even if you haven't notice much of a difference yet rest assured you've done your body a big favor by eliminating the poisons that processed tobacco has put in it. Here's to not smelling like crap anymore. :toast:

Good for you! - I'm 2 months without an analog, and will never go back, I love vaping much more than I did smoking - I'm in the process of converting my dad, mother in law, sister in law, and multiple others - I feel like I'm saving lives. I even wrote my story to the FDA, asking them to simply help make sure it's safe (if they feel they must) but don't screw it all up with stupid un-realistic regulations.. They let Chantix get approved, and look how many suicides, etc. happened. I hope they don't add big old taxes, etc. like it's a tobacco product when it isn't... Hopefully they just make sure juices meet certain criteria, etc, but don't screw it all up for us....They sent me a reply and cited their terrible tests from years ago on inferior chinese juices that were crap, and act as though no self-regulating has been going on in the last couple of years - I've seen great progress from manufacturers, and my USA made liquids I buy, I feel very safe. Vape ON!!!!

Stick with it! Vaping has been a great experience for most everyone involved in this forum.

Thanks for that! I hope I made good choices though. I looked for the pattern of gear recommended and liquids mentioned most often that matched my tastes. I am counting on these random voices being honest opinions and not shill posts. This forum looks like it is up front so I am not super worried about my choices.

:)
