Nichrome vs kanthal

I have read a lot of things on the two I just want the option of someone who knows what they are talking about.
Does nichrome make your juice taste different? Is kanthal really the better choice? I have 300ft of nichrome on the way.

Sounds like your set with Nichrome for a while. Most people think Nichrome makes certain notes in the juice pop better. It also has slightly lower resistance.

32g Nichrome 10.6 ohms /ft,
32g Kanthal 13.7 Ohms/ ft.

So essentially you have lower ohms with the same Wick coverage; when compared to kanthal.

Some report Nichrome gives them a Sore throat, some report kanthal can give an iron/ metallic taste. I prefer Nichrome myself it seems to make my juices taste cleaner. I guess I'm one of those that notices the Iron taste from kanthal.
