Nickel wire (NI200) is only used in mods that that have the DNA40 temperature control chipset in them. There may be a DNA20 temperature control chip out there as well. The original DNA40 chip is made by Evolv.

There are some pre-made coils for the nautilus and the Kanger Subtanks that are available in Nickel for use on a temperature control mod.

Hello, typically nickel is use for dna40 devices with tempature sensor ability. In the past nickels was use for non resistance wire joins to regular kanthal in some tanks. The new sub ranks use nickel on both ends and kanthal in the middle where just the coil is. Some use nickle in rda, but not recommended because it's really low resistance and you need good batteries.

Hope this helps and makes sence.
