I didn't even think about that at all.
Geesh.
I think my guardian angel must be watching out for me.
I was so embarrassed about it I considered not posting and if it wasn't for answering Nila's post to me I probably would have kept it to myself.
I just had no idea.
I am going to educate myself today on these batteries. I know there is info on ECF and I will read it.
Thank you so much, Dishy et al.

Pat NEVER be embarrassed about anything when it comes to vaping/batteries/devices etc, we are here to help and look out for each other, i would much rather you felt a little embarrassed and asked or posted what happened than have you in hospital or have your home burn down!!
Your a treasure Pat, always feel comfortable to post your events or questions, and if anyone mocks you the Aussie Night Crew will return fire!

I just read through this last week on batteries. Very informative. Way more than I ever knew.
Understanding Battery’s ?

Wow I will need to read this through more than once. I want to learn it even though I probably won't progress to mods or mechs or?
But more information is good.
And if the doomsday scenario comes about I will definitely want a device that I only have to buy batteries for.
Lots to learn!
Thanks, Dan, for this resource.

You posted a link yesterday that had over 800 pics.
I just keep thinking about them.
It is tragic.
and people unaccounted for........and I am sure the animals are suffering terribly.
So glad for our National Guard to be on the job. I feel much better when they and the coast guard are involved.
Ever since Katrina I have so much regard for those folks!
First responders just leave me feeling so very grateful.

Wow MKR thats just crazy!

No kidding! My student who had to park 5 miles from her house to get home is still trapped but they have plenty of food and each other so they are okay. Her hubby went down yesterday and their car is still there too. The whole thing is mind blowing. Things like that picture all over the place and where the roads aren't washed out the bridges aren't safe and even if there is no damage to anything there are many feet of mud and debris like boulders the size of small cars littering the roads. And more rain due today...

I saw a report yesterday how they were using front loaders to rescue livestock...soooo many ranchers with their herds cut off from anything!

And the National Guard have been running their black hawk helicopters all the time. They reported this morning they had rescued more pets than people...awwwww...

Some folks are demanding to stay and the sheriff's office had to make an announcement that ALL people had to leave evacuated towns no matter what. We're stubborn folks out here. The pioneering blood runs deep and folks WILL NOT give up their land even if it means their lives. If they stay and hide no one would come to help them when they run out of food or water. :(

I was just in Colorado in August for my son's wedding. It's beautiful! I can't imagine the destuction the residents are facing now. Scary stuff!

It's mind blowing for certain! At least it is being handled well and they are working to track everyone down. Just....wow.....
