The way I read it is that individuals in CA cannot have anything shipped to them (I assume including from a vendor inside CA). B&Ms with the proper licensing can still order through the mail/from outside the state, and individuals can then buy from B&Ms which will most likely be more heavily taxed than they already are. I didn't see anything about vendors in CA shipping
out of the state.
The purpose is so that anybody buying vape gear can be ID'd during the purchase. I still don't see why they can't just make it a requirement for an adult signature upon delivery for mail order stuff, but judging from the video I posted yesterday parents are clueless enough to sign for anything.
This law in particular won't keep me from vaping, but it
will put a huge damper on it, severely limit my access to mods, atties and juices, and make the cost savings of vaping completely moot (if not make it more expensive than smoking was). It's ok though, it's all being done in the name of saving the kids.
